I've been watching a lot of food shows lately, especially masterchef

and what I notice is:
Everyone: The contestants, the judges taste the food and then put the same spoon back into the food they are making! Repeatedly!

eeewww

*Makes a note to never eat in restaurants driven by anyone from masterchef*
... or maybe not at any at all :p

Hubby got a new car yesterday... It's a Land Rover 2001.... The same age as MY car.. same color as MY car... Only difference. He got his for dirt cheap... Got mine... 6 years ago at full retail price. My car also has a lot more miles than his does. I bought mine off a dealership lot, he got his.. Off a street corner, a pharmacist was selling his car. Hubby- super excited...
me- paranoid about repairs cause I KNOW... They're not cheap.

I love my cats, but seriously? -_-

It's now 8:09 am and I haven't gone back to sleep.

Did he research the car before he bought it? Land Rovers are... how should I put this.. not known for their excellent build quality. But I hope yours is an exception.

Ah.
Woke up with a strange amount of anxiety today and I just realized that my alarm clock may not be working correctly and it most certainly did not go off when I set it this morning.
It always changes the hour........
Another unreliable contraption.

Time to go work this stress off.
And it is a tea day.

Is is possible to understand and know that a difficult situation will never change, yet not be able to accept that difficult situation in your heart?

Also, if someone you're close to asks you to do something you are not comfortable doing at all, would you do it? Nothing sinful, just a request you could easily comply with, but a request that is extremely difficult for you to comply with as well.

Sometimes things just take time. With time comes eventual acceptance. If you know it won't change, try to make the best of what you've got, and make decisions that are healthy for yourself long-term.

Also, if someone you're close to asks you to do something you are not comfortable doing at all, would you do it? Nothing sinful, just a request you could easily comply with, but a request that is extremely difficult for you to comply with as well.
That would really depend on the situation. Will it benefit the other person? Will it cause harm toward yourself? Sometimes God wants us to stretch ourselves outside of our comfort zones. Other times we need to protect ourselves and say no.

When faced with a difficult situation, should you bury your emotions deep down inside you and endure it? Or should you be open and honest about what you're feeling, even if that honesty can cause more problems?

You should be open and honest. Of course, you will need someone that you are comfortable being open and honest with.

I wake up with anxiety each day that is a work day. Something has to change. Most contraptions will eventually prove to be reliable.

Yeah, that is what I am most afraid of.
But I think sometimes when we beat the devil at his game we can conquer that anxiety.
I have yet to take my own advice.

Sorry, Tourist. I read 'contraptions' as 'contraceptions'. It changed the meaning of your last sentence somewhat. :p

Actually, I meant to write "eventually proved to be unreliable". This computer I'm writing on is sometimes unreliable.
