xD Maybe this won't surprise you either, then....
Dude fish, it's not worth it! Let the species die, bro! I mean, free meals and not having to do anything does sound good, but she's just using you for procreation, Fin-bud! It's literally gonna cost you an arm and a leg...or...fins and eyes and organs and things...in your case...

Swim away, fish man...swim away.

"Once the male finds a suitable mate, he bites into her belly and latches on until his body fuses with hers. Their skin joins together, and so do their blood vessels, which allows the male to take all the nutrients he needs from his host/mate’s blood. The two fish essentially become one. "

How romantic! :p

I think he is happy to stick on to her because he gets free food. :p

Careful now.

I sting.
Duly noted.

Note to self: Carry a fly swatter on person, at all times.

Yeah! She stings like a butterfly and spits like a bee... or something...
A Muhammad Ali quote?

Wow... you ARE old!

By the way, that is "Float like a butterfly. Sting like a bee!". I can understand why you got that wrong.... failing memory, and all that....

Two creatures fused together... Some call it romance... some call it mad science... FMA called them Chimeras... *shrugs* I guess it's in the "I" of the beholder.

I thought about posting an image of the reference FMA chimeras...or a 'beholder' from gaming... but really, I don't think they would be appropriate...

...which is causing me to re-evaluate some things in life...

Oh I can relate to that! Guess what my favourite activity on Sunday afternoon is?

Watching NatGeo documentaries of lions hunting prey while I sink my teeth into a crunchy, footlong, Tuna sub. :D

Do you think I have borderline cannibalistic tendencies?

Are you calling her a giant Asian hornet? :p
Don't worry... I like steak for that same reason.

I have an irrational fear of monkeys! I went to a carnival as a child once and this man had one on a leash. As he was playing violin, the monkey would walk around asking for coins. I was about four and I NEEDED to touch it! So I went for it and the darn thing attacked me! Okay, okay...it just scratched me...but still! I don't like monkeys and I hate the way they look. They're sooo creepy.

That one on the right seems pretty chill, but the one on the left appears to be plotting some sort of evil scheme.

How horrible would it be if you gave this guy a high five...?

He might start screaming, but I"m also wondering if that's a mouth or just his neck... It would be worse if he couldn't scream...and he couldn't really hold his hand with the other hand for the same reason his first hand (or rather, eye) would be hurting...

Tough life, creature-man... Sorry 'bout cha.

Lol! I used to do that when I was a kid, only, instead of bugs, we played with spiders.
