Jezebel is not a spirit of immorality or feminist but of control and it seeks to stop the verbal proclaiming of the word of God. Often items that means a person possessed by true spirit of Jezebel will often use immorality to silence the messenger of God.
The spirit of Jezebel is solely about control. Many protestant denominations, and mainly the Baptists, think it's a woman that wears proactive clothing and is sexually immoral and full of lust.
Real Jezebel's are often married to passive men, just like Ahab was and seek to stop the verbal proclamation of the word of God.
If you read about Jezebel in 1 Kings you will see, that her total mission was to kill the messengers of God and used sex, witch craft and other things as tools to enforce her desire for more control.
A Baptist friend thought he had one in his church and he did, little did he know it was his own sister in Law, who wanted him destroyed so she could put her own husband in the pastorate. Everyone in church thought it was the poor young lady, that was dressing wrong and showing cleavage, who was a new babe in Christ. Just like a classic Jezebel , the sister in law, orchestrated the campaign for the church to blame the young woman and make her look like the problem.
Jezebel is controlling and manipulative. It is also a demonic Spirit.
Sorry a feminist is no the spirit of Jezebel and neither are fleshy sexually immoral women in the church.

I am very feminine in appearance but I can assure you I am also strong in the Lord and there is no scripture that states women have to act like a helpless Barbie doll or that men have to behave and look like lumberjacks 3 months into their contract with no plumbing

I heard a biological study a while back about women's traits vs. men. It made sense. God created men and women for different purposes, really as opposites. What the male lacks the female has, and visa versa. We men have a propensity to focus on doing one thing at a time; woman can focus on doing several things at one time. When we men sleep, most of our brain activity is inactive, while a women's brain activity stays almost at 90% while asleep.
Men have a more concentrated vision that is far away (for hunting?), while women's vision has a wider peripheral range than men, and can focus in close range seeing everything in front of them at a glance. Women are naturally less direct, and often hint instead, while men are more direct and to the point.

What was stated way back in the post about what feminism actually is, versus what is perceived was pretty observant. Unfortunately, perception is reality. I'm all for equal pay for equal work, equal rights, etc... but that concept was swallowed whole by the crowd that wants to belittle and denigrate men, the ones that want to say that sex between a man and wife is always a form of rape, women have the right to abort their unborn children, all of that, we all know what "feminism" stands for now. I believe a woman of God should never identify herself as a "feminist" because of what it has become. Women should always be strong and as independent as necessary, but should not align themselves with all the garbage.
It's very much like communism.... which, when practiced correctly is a very good form of living. Sharing our blessings equally among like-minded people. The first century church did that. As long as it's done with a true spirit of equality, it's wonderful. Unfortunately, man has perverted and distorted that concept to what the world now knows as "communism". No Christian should every align themselves or identify themselves as "communists" because of what the world perceives as communism.

The Jezebel in Revelations was sexually immoral and she corrupted the church with her immoral teachings. Ahab's Jezebel served many gods she was a princess before becoming a queen and she influenced her husband to sin against The Almighty. Well these two women were terrible but to say that their spirit has taken over the church is giving dead women too much authority.What's overtaking the church is the spirit of Satan .He is a liar full of deceit and a hater of the people of God and the things of God. At least this is my belief on this subject but I respect yours.Remember that not every woman is born with the gene for meekness but through Christ all things are possible.Just like not every man is born with the gene of humbleness and some men don't know the difference between being humble while also being strong enough to lead his own wife and children.

The term Jezebel was created by men probably to suppress women in my opinion.
I have a daughter and hope she grows to be a confident woman that doesn't need a man to overlord her daily life. Instead I would hope she has a partner that sees her as an equal and someone that will love and respect her.
Days of a woman being second to a man are over. My wife is truly my better half. I pray my daughter learns from her.
I have no objection with feminists but the new movement of feminazis is of some concern.
Just my opinion.

Seriously though laughter is good for the soul.Taking things too seriously causes stress.No but there are a lot of people who believe in the Jezebel spirit and what we Christians need to do is educate them in scripture to the best of the ability that the Lord gave us.
