Hey Goodnewsman, you sure did read a whole lot in my post that doesn't exist. You want to try again? You asked a question and Scripture answers your question quite well, yet you responded by suggesting I throw the Bible on the floor. Your response exposes your preconceived judgments upon me and others because nowhere did I defend watching pornography. Try reading the Scripture rather than incorrectly reading into my posts.

Slander is when you make up a lie about another person, not when you state a fact !!!

Jesus didn't defend Himself because He came to fulfill the prophecy of dying on the cross for our sins, if He defended Himself or let the Apostles defend Him then the prophecy would not have been fulfilled !!!

We must take and put things in proper context as to what was going on, and the bible is full of examples of defending oneself and others !!!
So then, if you think defending your honor and demanding respect is what Jesus meant by what he told us,carry on.

This thread turned ugly real fast.. not to mention totally off-topic from the original OP. Wowsa.. Not surprising, though, cuz this is par for the course here in the bible argument forum.. View attachment 143595
Does it matter? When brought back to the point, no response was given.

Read it again....it's talking about our eyes seeing evil that is being written on the screens.....seeing people slandering and speaking hate malice filled words to them....the greek word for evil is [FONT=&quot]ponēros = an active form of evil

Vine's Expository Dictionary of Old Testament and New Testament Words...
the problem is the meaning of yesterday. is different to the meaning to today.. so give us the meaning to evil,

please.

you have to be in it to win it. etc

Outstanding post, my Brother. You share great insight that IMO is spot on accurate and more importantly you share it with heartfelt love as well. It doesn't get any better than that. You reflect God's love in an amazing way. God bless you!
There is just one small point, if hyper-grace spread heresy, condemnation, easy believism, and oppose any real spiritual insight we bring, not surprisingly at this current point in time, we are only interested in talking about their heresy and why they believe it.

The truth is the questions are not being answered because this version of faith is simply wrong.
You believe heretical, possessed people are speaking from God when both their works and words are against the Lord.

I think that puts you 100% in their camp doomed to hell.

I think that may be a little strong, but I can not get a handle on their error.

Osas seems to be a requirement for them, but if challenged they meld it into hyperbolic criticism of offense that anyone would dare question their "foundation".

It seems like a 3 tiered modern day deception."(I will have to look into it further)

1osas
2 extend grace, leave out the "dying" of Paul, over react to a perceived negative, and march their doctrine down everyone's throat.
3 a question birthed out of the first 2. Did universalism use this for a foundation?

This is very odd to me because it is the "opposite team" that I have seen consistently take offense, usually by saying they are being slandered, while the ones supposedly doing this slandering remain silent, kind of like sheep...and when I bring this point to attention, the stock answer seems to be: I am not slandering them because what I say is true but they are slandering me because what they say is a lie.
And it is also this "opposite team" that seems to be the one trying to forcefully cram doctrines down throats, following specific people into whatever thread they start and pushing their agenda, no matter the topic of the thread.

It's bizarre...

No all hyper grace believers here are wolves although they have the fruit of sheep. It is indeed bizarre.

This will sound crazy, I am sure, but...the one side seems they must be liberals and the other seems must be conservatives...probably just my mind playing tricks on me...
