I am a avid hunter. Been since I was able to have a license. Is it wrong to hunt and kill animals in the eyes of the lord if we are not going to use them after the hunt? Lets use prairie dogs and crows for examples.
 
I personally think it is wrong to hunt animals just for sports, as I see it as taking lives. But I don't think the Bible says anything about it (at least not if there is any difference between hunting for food or for other reasons)

I had a conversation about this with some other christian hunters. We are to manage wildlife the way we see fit to keep the animals in check. This keeps diseases and other wildlife in balance. Hunting is part of life either for food or for conservation purposes as God intended us to be in control over all the animals on earth.

If you hunt, kill and then let it rot, UNLESS IT IS AN INVASIVE, FERAL OR PEST SPECIES, then YES, it is wrong.
However, it is more of a moral judgement than a Christian principle.

As an atheist I think it is wrong to kill animals for no reason. Now I kill animals all the time. But I only kill if it is for food or if it is keep some kind of ferrel animal in check. Why don't you do hunt something you could use?

you can still fish in britian im glad the ban fox hunting bloody cruel what they did to them as for duck you can hunt them but some speices have been banned get your facts right

I too am an avid hunter, and since my conversion to a Jesus follower, I can not find anything good in the killing of any animal without the use of it being the primary motivation. Perhaps there are those out there who feel called to manage the species with mass culling, but I am not one of those.

i lived in bournemouth

the city next door was southampton

the GayGreenLefties got control of the southampton council

they banned fishing

and at least one lake got overstocked with fish

Hm. My take on it comes from Proverbs 12:10. Now I know about Genesis 1:28, too, but I don't believe God intended for us to kill off parts of his creation for pure pleasure. In the Proverbs passage he is implying we should at least take care of our own animals. I've never been hunting, myself, but the folks that raised me have taught me to not let the animal go to waste once you kill it. You know - skin, gut, cook, eat. I still like firing guns. Everyone where I live is a big hunting freak. I've even thought about using a paintball gun on a deer... but I've never gotten around to it. I wonder what the hunters would think if they saw a buck come bounding out of the brush with orange paint marks all over him. Who knows.. Maybe the orange would save its life? :D

Nah. They'd probably rack it up as animal cruelty, slap me on the wrist and then let the hunters shoot it dead.

sorry greatkaw, I agree with aussie on this one. No need to use gay as a derogatory word
and no need to bash parties just because you disagree with them
say you disagree, don't call them names...
 
the original post was about was about hunting animals

the council did ban fishing

they were green

I dont know how many of them were gay
