Even if it were true, try explain that to an unbeliever. Oh those are false christians. That's why I treat 'em like that. It's not a good testimony. Even on atheist forums people are kinder to each other and don't do name calling.

I've only been here a few days, and what I've seen s far from people is abhorrent and deplorable. There is much worse behavior from people on these forums...CHRISTIAN forums, then I have seen on many other forums. Secular, atheist forums have more polite, more friendly exchanges than what I have seen on these forums right here.

I'm not a Christian and I make no secret of that fact. I'm trying to decide if it's the right choice for me. If becoming a Christian means being haughty and arguing with my fellow Christians while throwing verses of scripture around to make my point for me, while cementing myself in a very narrow box of doctrine...then maybe I don't want to become a Christian.

I was under the mistaken impression that Christians were supposed to act as "Christ-like" as they can, but it appears that a whole lot of them act like petulant children who need a spanking and sent to their room without supper.

This is the main reason why everyone has to stop fighting now. I'm on Facebook with a group of christians who are focused on evangelizing and they go to the street to pray for people who are not christian to get healed. Never ever is there a fight. Only encouraging each other.

Very well said. And the make nice ploy is a tactic to deflect legitimate criticism that exposes liars and their lies. When bankrupt or the light is shining too brightly in that dark corner, attack the messenger. There are veritable Satanic creeps out there who are trying to tell all Christendom that intoleration of anything isn't Christ-like, while they lie out of both sides of their smiley mouths, strewing flowers on the path to damnation. They "love" everybody alright, straight into hell.

Rough estimate? About one in every 300 posts on here is "legitimate criticism." Most are "my way or you're a hyper, pants-wearing, tribulating, (non) denominational, inferior-bible-version, daughter of a...."

Blain, you are a young sensitive man. There are some serious hard ass people who have gone through a lot.
The problem is religion gets the steamer going, and putting it right is the mission of quite a few.

So no, you just have to put up with this confused crazy world, because until Jesus returns, many will say, I know Jesus and you have a demon, and I am just not going to let that terrible evil get away. That is what Saul did, and funnily the only people I know who are hauling this flag now are actually "hyper-grace" people which is ironic.

I suspect Blain has gone through more in his life than most of us might-be-past-middle-age folks have. Don't underestimate his experience. And, frankly, I'm impressed he has chosen to remain sensitive because of it.

I don't have ANY social media. I think Fake Book is absolutely ridiculous, but the CIA and FBI love it because they can find anyone, anytime, anywhere.. jmo And I would certainly never do twitter, Skype, kik, etc etc..

well good for you.. I am sure many would follow you. I have spoken to people who do not believe in God, I do not need to be hatefull to the, why would we? The ones who are mean to them, must be threatened by them is the only thing I can think of.

Unfortunately there are many people in here that have other gods before them and are trying to silence True Christians from spreading the Truth from God by saying we are spitting venom when we bring to them the Truth from God.

And 98% of the people on here could say that verbatim and think the same thing. The problem is if someone doesn't agree with US exactly, that's when we start talking about THEIR venom.

Most stuff argued on here isn't to the level of saying the other isn't a "True Christian." It's just arguing lint, while ignoring the clothes.

Examples:
-- Post, Pre, no tribulation argued all the time, but it's not important enough to say any of those folks aren't "True Christians."
-- Blahblahblah hyper blahblahblah, and it's not important enough to say any of those folks aren't "True Christians."

the problem is that on secular or atheistic forums they don't really have much concern whether you believe one or the other, It is a matter of the head. But on here you have people who believe from the HEART what they teach. And they find others denying it. That is why they 'rise in arms'. What they believe really matters. and usually they are 'attacking' someone who they see as leading other astray
