do not deliberately pass up the seats at
the main table where everyone else is sitting and where your niece would have sat
if she wanted to sit by people, and instead sit right next to her in such a way as to prevent her leaving (i.e.
escaping) the corner where she is sitting if
she doesn't want to be around you,
which she obviously doesn't, for the purpose of keeping her, quote/unquote,
"in line." You are
not endearing yourself to her, nor are you are
not building her
character. You are cornering a nervous creature of tempestuous character. I had to pray very hard for grace (which is equivalent to your safety) in the face of this trial.
