Ok...show me where Jesus hated people...Jesus hates the sin...there are many "things" that the Lord hates...like anything that destroys His children.....it's a fair request...Jesus is the exact representation of the Father..because He said no one knew Him...so He came to reveal His true nature...
Proverbs 6
[SUP]16 [/SUP]There are six things that the Lord hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
[SUP]17 [/SUP]haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
[SUP]18 [/SUP]a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that make haste to run to evil,
[SUP]19 [/SUP]a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers.

Is Jesus in disagreement with this?

I do believe that Jesus hates what the Father hates and He came here to show us the true nature of our Father......Jesus said " No man has known the Father"..Jesus came to make known to the world God as Father.....as I said..there are many things the Lord hates...and it mostly is to what is destroying His children..

We have a good, good, loving Father....

I will need scripture showing where Jesus hated people...sorry guys..I'm not interested in anyone's religious beliefs....Show me the money!...lol...( money being the substituted word for scripture..but I knew you knew that..)

Then you can't deny that God hates and Jesus is in agreement with what the Father hates, correct?

Either Jesus is not God and disagrees with the Father hating things, or Jesus is God and hates the things the Father hates. You can't have it both ways. You claim that Jesus is a perfect reflection of the Father, yet you deny that Jesus hates based on what the Father himself said in the Old Testament. Logical fallacy there buddy. You are pitting the Son against the Father while claiming that the Son is a perfect reflection of the Father.

Any time the Father said he hated people.... Is Jesus a perfect reflection of the Father or isn't he?? Scriptures have been provided where God claimed to hate people.

But the Lord said...no one knows the Father...including all those listening that had studied the old covenant ...and He is the real expression of His nature....He came to reveal the Father....

Show me where Jesus hates people ......

What is the manifestation called here?

Rev_6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Rev_14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

It's not His children.

Have I not hated them, O Lord, that hate thee? and wasted away because of thine enemies? I [David] have hated them with perfect hatred; they were counted my enemies. Psalms 139:21-22

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the [son] of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. Acts 13:22

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Psalms 11:5

Show me where Jesus hates people in His life in the gospels that outline His life here on earth..seeing that He came to reveal the Father's true nature to us..........how many times have I asked for this now..6?..7?...

LOL....you show me in Jesus' life where He hates people....you do realize that Jesus came to show us the true nature of the Father....

So, John 3:16 should read God so loves the world ( except for Esau ) that He gave.....could it be that God hated what Esau did?

Malachi 1:3
And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Romans 9:13
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

No you keep raising the requirements to fit your narrative.

You challenged me, saying that hate is not also God's nature, which means always, not just during a specific time and place.
Jesus is the same Yesterday, today and forever.
God's true nature is Holy. What ever bucks against His Holiness will experience HIS WRATH as shown in these once again passages you keep avoiding...

Oh now it 'is in the Gospels'?
Jesus came not to condemn but to save.
There will come a time when His full fury will be unleashed against those who rejected His provision.

These are things God hates

They are not people...they are THINGS

Anyone can behave in a sinful way that incorporates one or more of these THINGS

Does that mean that God now hates a believer who sows discord by repeating or even starting slander?

Yet the Bible tells us that God sent His only Son BECAUSE He LOVED the world! Does that mean the physical matter that comprises the world or the people made in His image?

  • Psalm 5:5, "The boastful shall not stand before Thine eyes; Thou dost hate all who do iniquity,"
  • Psalm 11:5, "The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence His soul hates."
  • Lev. 20:23, "Moreover, you shall not follow the customs of the nation which I shall drive out before you, for they did all these things, and therefore I have abhorred them."
  • Prov. 6:16-19, "There are six things which the Lord hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: [SUP]17[/SUP] Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, [SUP]18[/SUP] A heart that devises wicked plans, feet that run rapidly to evil, [SUP]19 [/SUP]A false witness who utters lies, and one who spreads strife among brothers."
  • Hosea 9:15, "All their evil is at Gilgal; indeed, I came to hate them there! Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of My house! I will love them no more; All their princes are rebels."

I think in this instance Esau represents a way of life that puts the pursuit of fleshly gratification above the things of God

Th Bible also states that God lived Jacob

Jacob was no paragon of virtue so LOGICALLY it follows that these two brothers are illustrating biblical ' types'

Here is the progression..see post #74, 76, 77, 81, 82, 88, 89, 92, 94, 97, 99, 100, 102, 105, 106, 108, 111, 113, 115

Obviously you cannot do what was asked...so this discussion is redundant .

...For the record everyone..Jesus does not hate people. He loves them dearly but He hates anything that destroys His children..

We actually do..despite what religion has taught...do have a good, good, loving Father

( this is disturbing to even have to say this..we should know better about our Father and Lord )

Oh now it 'is in the Gospels'?
