Obama is the President of the most multicultural and multi-religious country in the world. He is not the Pastor of the country, he is the leader.

What you are proposing is akin to introducing Sharia Law into Great Britain or the like.

He has to rule for ALL of the country, not just the Christians.

You have to get your head around the fact that the USA is not purely a Christian country. As much as that may pain you to accept.
It doesn't matter if is a Pastor or not. He still needs to run a country according to God's laws if he proclaims to be a Christian. Otherwise he is simply another fake.

your sick why cause you put your a x masturbator and thats not a sin but adultry is a big bad sin so why you not masturbating god would prefare you to than adultry you stupid person
So I am being condemed by you because God has blessed me and helped me stop masturbation? I find that very odd to be honest. If this had happened to someone else I would be giving praise to God. I am now also sick because I have sturggled with masturbation in the past? I have it in my signature because it is a public proclamation of what God has done for me. Through that signature, multiple people have come to me asking how I quit, so I see it as something that God is now allowing me to help other overcome, not something perverse and twisted. I thank God that he freed me from that bondage.

No.
He has to run the country within the laws that are enacted and passed by the legislature.
And those laws should be drafted with the rights and freedoms of ALL Americans in mind.

You seem a little close minded to the concept of true democracy and freedom.
Values that are championed by every American that I know.

Perhaps you should move to a secular Christian enclave so that you may live in peace and fullfillment.

Good luck in finding one.

He can change laws! He doesn't have to make laws to please everyone. The United States is not really a true democracy. It's a representative democracy. The people don't vote on every single law that they want passed or not. They simply vote in who they want to represent them. Therefor Obama can choose his stance in a Christian way. Instead he chooses majority just so he can get in, and in doing this totally breaking some of God's laws. So don't tell me that America is "True Democracy" cause it isn't. and freedom? No one has freedom except through Christ and even then you can still say you are serving a master and are not free. This world doesn't know what freedom is.

Again you presume that I don't.
Which is wrong.

You base your interpretation of the Word to denigrate and lampoon the leader of your country.

How very, very sad.
Forgive me if I missed the scripture references, but I am quite sure that I've not seen any such references in any of your posts in this thread.

Instead of providing scripture references you use a very different method that is quite foreign to Christianity. Instead of Bible verses you offer derogatory remarks in order to make your opponents look foolish. This is always the method of argument preferred by those without a solid defense.

Furthermore, You offer no sound reasoning as to why you are correct and as to why we are wrong. The only weapons you have in your arsenal are defamation of character and threats to debunk our arguments that you never fulfill.

Please allow me to give some examples of your put downs: 1) "How very, very sad." 2) "Please consider that Question Time may be a nut job." 3) "You are a disgrace!" 4) The heat in the kitchen getting too hot? 5) Yeah, the big, bad Aussie is debunking my conspiracy theories and I don't know what to do. *sob*

More examples:

1) Either interpretation is patently absurd. How is either interpretation patently absurd? Because you said so? You make repeated claims that things are not as we say they are, but you never provide any proof except for your own opinion.
2) How is Chuck Norris more CREDIBLE than the average Joe in the street. How is he not more credible than the average Joe in the street? You being the average Joe of course that claims to be more credible.
3) And if you want me to tear the rest of your crap apart, video by video, I am happy to do so. Please do! I'm interested to see what you have to say to the creator of the Weather Network. You obviously know much more than he does about global warming.
4) You are scaremongering and have no factual proof to back up your claims except some trumped up and falsified videos and the barely coherent ramblings of a C grade celebrity. I have presented vast quantities of factual proof to back up my claims, both in scripture and in video! The only thing you have managed to offer in response is derogatory remarks against my sources, because YOU think they aren't credible. Who really cares what you think in comparison to CNN, Fox and C-Span?

He can change laws! He doesn't have to make laws to please everyone.
No. But the majority would be good thing.
It's called politics.
Welcome to the REAL world.

The United States is not really a true democracy.
It represents the facet of democracy that is followed, in general, by most of the free, (note the word free), world.

It's a representative democracy. The people don't vote on every single law that they want passed or not.
Would you prefer a referendum on every single statute put before the legislature?

They simply vote in who they want to represent them.
Well, duh!

Therefor Obama can choose his stance in a Christian way
No he can't.

.
Instead he chooses majority just so he can get in
If he didn't pass laws that most of the electorate agreed with he would be a one term President...still might be.

What you are suggesting is called an Autocracy, or even worse, a Dictatorship!

, and in doing this totally breaking some of God's laws.
Again. You don't live in a secular Christian country.

So don't tell me that America is "True Democracy" cause it isn't.
Tell that to the people of China and North Korea.

You may well be right.

But we make do with what we have until he comes again.

Quest

Since when are scripture quotations a prerequisite of debunking a nut job?

I will get back to your hilarious videos tomorrow.

Brace yourself.

Something to ponder....why haven't you replied to my debunking of your JFK video yet?

Because you can't!

.
Good thing William Wilberforce wasn't a political sell out like Obama. If he was we'd still have slavery today!

Please allow me to offer two proofs of the fallacy in your arguments:

1) When Obama stands in front of God, he will have to give an account for his own obedience or disobedience to God's Laws; not to the Constitution of the United States, and not to the people of the United States.

2) Furthermore, if he is a Christian - as you claim - and he is concerned with keeping the majority of people happy - as you claim - then why does he not bring the troops home from Iraq? The majority of Americans don't want troops in Iraq anymore. If he - without any regard for the American people's opinion - can continue a senseless war, then he can likewise end abortion, without regard for the American people's opinion.

3) And those laws should be drafted with the rights and freedoms of ALL Americans in mind. With this statement you have just mocked God and his kingdom by boldly telling Him - and all of us - that His Laws are not the best thing for "All Americans." You are also saying that abortion is good for "some Americans."

But we make do with what we have until he comes again.
1. We are called to be different from the world, be the "salt". Not please as many people as possible. That is exactly why obama is not a genuine Christian.
2. I'm not saying I would prefer that, I'm just saying that with that Obama has a choice to make about what he wants to support. Since he supports ways that are not of God, this would make him a fake. We are supposed to hate what God hates and love what God loves.
3. Please don't attempt to insult my intelligence. I was simply pointing out a fact that was proving that Obama can think for himself and doesn't have to do what everyone else wants him to do.
4. Why can't he choose his stance in a Christian way?
5. So now he is going simply for popularity and not for justice and proper morals. Exactly what I was saying earlier which proves my point that he is a supporter of the world and not of God.
6. I never said I do live in one, but if the man proclaims to be Christian he had better show it.
7. I love how you go to the other end of the spectrum. It doesn't matter if China is a Dictatorship or not, the fact is, The United States is not a "True Democracy".

This comment deserves a banning. There is absolutely no acceptable reason to call anyone in this forum stupid.

Political threads are fine, it's the conduct of some of the participants in this thread that ought to be "off limits."
