If you saw a gas store that had a sign that said gasoline .25¢ per gallon would you stop and get gas or would you feel that there must have been a mistake because someone (management) will have to be resposible and might get fired for the mistake?

I'd think that it was from the '60's and it hadn't gotten torn down.

I would think i was in the twilight zone, as somehow I had miraculously been
transported to the USA. Either that or maybe I had been taken up in
a whirlwind. :p

I don't drive..... but for something else?
I'd probably enter and jokingly put a dollar (bill?) on the counter and say how much I wanted

Thank you for being honest.Honesty Is appreciated.:)
Here in the UK at the present time I pay $6.50 for a gallon of petrol (gas), the vast majority of that is tax, so if I was able to get a gallon for $0.25c I would make sure I had a trailer with a large tank on it to fill up! lol

$0.25c per gallon...Happy Days!

I put diesel in my truck at $1.70 a gallon and I had the brief thought that it might be a mistake.

I can't remember the last time I saw diesel under $2.00 a gallon. Maybe early 2000's ?

I didn't offer to give it back or pay extra though...

Do I fail the test?

70% of what we pay at the pump for a gallon of petrol here in the UK goes to the government in tax, and it certainly doesn't go to the poor!

With the cost of gas as it is, if I saw as sign that said $0.25 per gallon, I'd think it was a mistake, but I'd check the price at the pump to make sure it matches up with the sign. If it does, and gas really is programmed at the pump to dispense at $0.25 per gallon, I will fill up to the brim.
