Dont leave sweetie I know some responses can be discouraging no matter if it's here or even around where you live there will always be people who dislike what we say no matter were we are at in life.
Jesus is a great example of this, so much so they disliked what he was saying they nailed him to a cross for it. Just take a deep breath let it go for they know not what they do for tomorrow will be a new day with new challenges.

3 score i know this debate here is done and over and I wish I got here in time but you misunderstood what she was saying and even if you didn't mean to you kinda ran her off. some ppl are very sensitive and so you cannot be(blunt) all the time. even if you were right you have to speak carefully as to make sure not to deeply offend them, you know by now i'm sure how many new believers or those who are not as thick skinned get scared off from cc all the time yes?

I don't know if you are still here. There is another thread based on the conversation here. I had planned to comment on this thread and lost it somehow. If you feel God has called you into a healing ministry you follow Him and look to Him! Share it only with people you trust. I was called into ministry as a young girl and I was discouraged and put down by many folk. People are jealous and holier than thou. If God has called you He will use you for His purpose. Don't let others,especially Christians discourage you!!! I hope you come back again. Blessings.

You jumped the gun. Ask don't assume. I was called into ministry as a young girl. I did it for 20yrs and it was fellow Christians that were the most jealous,snipping,backstabbing people out there. This person may well be called into ministry,you don't know.You didn't give her time to explain. Next time I hope you will be more careful of your approach.

Sister that bring tears to my eyes. I'm so glad I followed Gods leading and posted in this thread. Satan can use other Christians to discourage you from your calling. Ministry isn't easy,I know this first hand. Don't let anyone steal your joy or tell you that you are not called. God called you,they didn't!! No one will understand His call on your life but you! Surround yourself with Christians you trust to pray for you. Stay close to Him and completely ignore the naysayers. God will use you mightily sister. Trust in Him! My word for you sister is I Thess. - " Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. "

I'm really glad you came back I was worried about you. Many believe that the gift of healing is for a special chosen few or not even for today to begin with. I have never seen actual healing done I have heard many make the claims of seeing it and experiencing it but never have seen it or experienced it for myself and this is a major reason why ppl are lead to believe that healing is not for today.
However I believe it for today just as much as it was in the book of acts and I don't believe it's for a chosen few or even simply for those who have the gift I believe that God does miraculous healing through anyone who is willing who makes themselves available. So it is no surprise to me that he would call you to the ministry of healing

I have seen healings. Trust me,healing is for today. But I'm going to ask fellow posters not to derail this thread into arguing about healing. This sister has been hurt and discouraged enough. Either be and encouragement or leave her alone. Not talking to you Blain btw. I just know there are going to be people jump on here and try to bash our sister again.I for one wont stand for it. And I'm not going to be the nice southern rootin tootin angry either. I was in ministry and I know how jealous,nasty and discouraging people can be. So encourage her or leave her be!
