Hey Everyone,
They say confession is good for the soul.
All right, all right, I confess: I had several hours off work today.
And I chose to spend nearly all of that time in the Bible Discussion Forum, arguing with a troll in a repetitive circle of legalism. By the time I got called into work--the only thing that saved me from myself--I felt even more drained than the time my best friend forced me to watch "Twilight."
So here I am, completely exhausted and humbly crawling back to Singles with my soul barely intact, wanting to beg its forgiveness and promise that I will NEVER cheat on it with any other forum again!!! (At least when things get out of hand here in Singles, we all resort to talking about food... If they tried to do that in the BDF it would simply erupt into an argument of why bacon is obviously The Meat of Pagans.)
* What situations in your life have made you feel "artificially" guilty, or as if you "cheated" on something?
* Do you feel bad when you "neglect" your car, pet, hobby, talent, etc? What do you do to ease the guilt?
* Where do you think this type of "guilt" even comes from?
This is meant to be a fairly lighthearted thread, but any thoughts are welcome.
I'm starting to think that maybe we've all been exposed to just a little too much legalism!
