I posted before doing this new thread introduction, oops, so hello now and God Bless You. Hoping to find the things that the Lord would want for me, and I hope that includes, forgiveness, friendship, and fellowship, along with growing in His Word, prayer, encouragement, peace, joy, and of course, love.
(Sounds more like I should put this in the profile page) :) Anyways...Hi.

Welcome to our nuthouse.. :)
Thanks! That's basically my nickname.....Nuthouse, Nut, (nu2 can be nut, too), anything that has to do with being nuts, knuckleheaded, or just plain lunacy would apply.
So yes, you can call me nuts, nut or nuthouse. Thanks.

LOL!!! What Blue said. ;)
Thanks, brother. Same as the last reply applies. Hope to be a friend among friends, but I'm nuts, so I need a lot of leniency. I thank the Lord His mercies are new every morning.
I'm afraid some days I use them up before my feet hit the floor. I should learn to start aiming with my knees.

I can tell we're going to be good friends. Glad you're part of our misfit family, Nutty.

Welcome to cc nu2see! God bless you!
Thanks, Tinu! Wow, 16, God bless you, I won't begin to tell you what I was doing at age 16! (Wait, what WAS I doing....) Up to no good, I'm sure, and still have many regrets. So glad to see so many young ppl believing in Jesus, I know how hard it is, and these days there's even way more temptations and things to pull you away, it seems, so it takes even more strength and courage, and of course, God's armor to resist.
But believe me, there's nothing out there for you, know matter how enticingly they try to package it, it's all empty.
Jesus is where it's at, and we have yet to even imagine what He's got in store for us.

And if you get days when maybe you're a bit bored? No big deal, it will pass, and there will be days you have so much going on, you'll be begging for boredom, lol. Jk, a little.
But really, better to be bored but alive in Christ, than in a whirlwind but dead inside, right?

Not saying you're bored, just saying if you ever get those days....
Consider it a blessing as well, a time of rest from the world's nonsense.
May the Lord keep you well protected and joy-filled. Thanks for the nice greeting, Tinuviel.

Wow, thanks for the encouragement! :) I actually wrote a bit of a song about that, the first lines go:

"livin' on the outside, dyin' on the inside, paving my way to Hell,
lookin' like I'm havin' oh such a good time so no one else can tell."

And it goes on to tell a story about a girl who was doing just the kind of thing that you warned against, and how she realized how empty it was...only I ran out of words that fit with the meter and haven't finished it lol.

Thank you, brother, I really believe so, especially counting so much enemy opposition, it would seem.
Sometimes the Lord would seem to have beautiful blessings in store, but I can't get past the obstacles of the the world, the devil, and my own foolish self.
But I thank Him for His love and forgiveness and can only hope to move onward and upward and grow in His grace.
Thanks for the kind words.
