Ok then, I guess every word of my Bible, the KJV, is right and pure because I have read it many many times and not once has the Holy Spirit stopped me to point out an error.:)

I've put my trust that God has preserved His words in a book, Scripture. I don't trust the men back in 1611, just like I don't trust Moses, David, Jeremiah, John, Paul etc...They were not inspired, but the words were inspired. When they wrote the words, they were preserving them God's inspired Scripture. That's what preservation is all about.
this is almost laughable. you do understand that Moses, David, John, Paul etc... did not write their words in middle English right ?? you know the KJV is an INTERPRETATION of other languages right??? just making sure.

Sadly, Thats putting faith in men.. You trust them completely.. Even paul warned you not to do that..

People can say the same thing about reading the NASB or other versions.. Does that make either of you right??

You lack faith that God can update his book to modern english..

Thats all that needs to be said..

My God is big enough not to be bound to Greek and Hebrew. He can also speak English the very words He wants us to have. Again, the issue is preservation.

So when you read your Bible, the Holy Spirit points out the things you can trust and the things you can throw out? When Scripture commands us to read and study, what are we reading and studying? Does He want us reading and studying corrupt words?

So God can speak english, But he only choses to speak 1600 english, and not modern day, where everyone can understand.

ok. You just contradicted yourself..

You think he did not know translators would mess up?

WHy do you think he did not have the origional authors write the bible in english, why did he use hebrew greek and some aramiac to write the origional text and not english?

Oh wait, thats right, the english language is a flawed language to begin with..

Why didn't the new versions update that old English word "dung"? Instead, some left it and others, not wanting to use an updated word, changed the meaning altogether.

If He's already given us His words in English, they don't need to be updated, just read and study and believe. Today's English? Corrupted, watered down, choppy at best. In a 100 years, the way it's going, cursing will be acceptable English used everyday to communicate. Or abbreviations and such...do you want the Bible full of curse words and abbreviations? That may be the accepted English of the day.

And by the way, read, study, you will understand. People are lazy today and use ease of understanding as an excuse.

If you had the pure words of God in your hands, you would treasure it too. It's not idolatry. It's defending.

Baptize. Is that an english word or a perverted greek word?

How about Jesus, is that his real name, or a perverted greek name?

How about love how many greek words does ONE english word cover? Why only one word for all these differing greek words which are not even related?

and this is just a few examples. And people wonder why we have so many perverted churches teaching different things.

In reality, we only have two Bible choices.

1. The KJV - comes from the line of Antioch manuscripts called the Received Texts or Textus Receptus.

2. All other versions - come from the line of Alexandrian manuscripts including the Sinaiticus and Vaticanus.

There's your two choices. Choose wisely.

and both are written in a flawed, imperfect langage which can not properly expose the true words of God in all areas..

and it assumes the textus receptus is not flawed.. And the other one is not right..

to many assumptions. we do not base our belief in eternal things on assumptions and flawed languages..

well maybe you do. But thats your choice.
