OK, well I recently went through a break-up that was pretty difficult, but I think I'm moving on pretty well so far. THe thing is I like another guy, and had been praying for timing on moving on and got a pretty straight answer that I'm not ready quite yet. The thing is I want to really develop a friendship with him right now, either way if I date him I want that good friendship first. But, I'm not sure how to do that without leading him on in a sense...I want to invite him to come hangout and such not just me and him but with friends but I'm afraid that will send the wrong idea, even though in the long run its not...How do I handle this?

Greetings,

If you want to be his friend, then be friendly. If he takes it that you like him, well you do. If he asks you for a date then you can explain that you really like him, but that you just broke up with someone recently and that you need some healing time first.

If he understands, then I think you will have found yourself a good man!

Pray lots - if he is really who God wants you to be with when the time is right it will work out and you won't need to stress.
If God is telling him that you are the right person as well then a friendship will happen without you needing to plan it out.
And i totally agree with Quest :)

Thanks, and yeah thats alot of what I have seen in him. I really enjoy talking to him but let him approach me rather than the other way around. I barely know him yet to so thats difficult.
