The part that "grace" believers leave out is - "if thy eye/hand offend thee".

Jesus was perfectly serious that if something about you offends to the point that it would result in you being cast into hell forever, it would be far, far better for you to do without that temporary thing than to suffer such an unbearable eternal fate. He was stressing the utter seriousness of avoiding hell.

"Grace" believers, of course, twist this around to make it say something entirely different than what Jesus meant.
 
Dear reader, Ember is right. I dared to suggest she was aggressive. I got page after page of stuff. I wondered how she got on with her husband, as she had mentioned he was different. The roof lifted off.

I was satanic, bribed the cc site, everything. Quite amusing in some ways, though not really relevant.
And yes I was sitting here with Ember rampaging about. "Deal with Ember" Now maybe I was wrong.
I have faced emotional volatile people in the past, and I know you do need to stand up to them in the end.

Now this was the sum total of the exchange. But I can handle it. And this is tame. But I do not recommend doing this unless you have armour on and are ready for the back lash. Ember has not really changed, but hey, it takes all sorts.

Now if you want to call me a sinner, lost, empty etc for this, fine, its a free world.

Am I sorry for doing this? Nope, because what happened proved my point 1000%. But I still love ember, and EG and Grace.
I just have no clue where they stand before the Lord, or even how they justify their behaviour and audacity to put everyone in their place and theirs is the only right view and all of us are possessed. Reeks of superstition to me just like Muhammed thought of. And their groups would be happy to link up with Islam, Chrislam I think some call it.

I don't wish to learn from the Spokesperson for Gnosticism, he is too deep into it. lol He has studied it so much that any truth resembling it he rejects. This is unfortunate, he is scarred. It is like an ex-cult member, the experience of an extreme has put up walls, sometimes at their own peril.

theology, too many people going to universities to learn Gods Word that is only discernable By the spirit offered freely to those who believe. No one asking God for understanding and going at it with their own mind. too many people " contending" for the faith, quoting scripture they have not discerned with the wisdom that is freely available from God, who gives without finding fault. Way, waaay too many people sitting at home judging other people for what they perceive as sin, rather than being out in the world doing as Christ taught. there really in a way is no church on earth right now, only a scattered remnant of faithful. we talk too much pretending to teach each other rather than do what works : helping people who need help and doing it in the name of Jesus. That is the most powerful tool available for those who wish to be found righteous. without tangible, true brotherly Love, there is no church. Just a kingdom divided and arguing. God bless

And now we have standing as evidence the OP from this morning saying basically "if you feel like doing something, go ahead and do it because God has put new desires in your heart." After all the crying foul over how "hyper" grace is not about licentiousness, now we have a whole OP standing in opposition to their own stance. No mention of how the flesh is at war with the spirit, just feel good theology about trusting your heart and going with the flow of your desires.

Your lack of understanding does not reflect well on you.

It is denied through refutation. Your only rebuttal is, again, a cry of "Gnosticism!" Come with substance and not just accusation.

It is a joke, he speaks so much on Gnosticism one would think he was their spokesperson. It is not ignorance on my part, it is jest. Magenta you are coming to the defense of people with questionable doctrine lately. That is concerning.

One thing struck me. It would be nice to be right about the Lord, to know you are saved and resting in His grace.

And you know how I know I am right. Because the bible tells me so, and so does the Holy Spirit and the brothers and sisters in Christ. And so I come to share. But the style of my sharing is wrong, I am pompous, proud, self righteous, a legalist, not saved, demon possessed, not pure or holy, a sinner, a slanderer, a liar etc.

Now if I am none of those things and yet I am accused of them, is this sticking to the points and discussing things nicely or is it just open season because talking about what we believe would be too difficult.

One person yesterday said they would only say they were a christian. They disliked labels and then called me a load of things. Then someone else said labels were wrong. Now this is just undisciplined stupid behaviour.

But for those who believe in honesty and integrity, Amen, I love you, Gods heart is with you. The rest have time till judgement, then no more.

None of your posts on this page have likes, and who even knows why people put likes on particular posts. It certainly cannot be taken to mean one thing only. You defend speaking in a manner that deliberately misleads while being concerned about who I agree with and why? You don't even know the why. Look to yourself.

Might want to check the page again. Also, I am not misleading. I have no intention of such, only stating he is buried in the knowledge of a cult so much so that anything resembling it he denies. Because of this, he is denying biblical truth.

But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other."

Don't be daft. I was referring to what I saw at the time I made my post. Now you dissemble some more. Either you were joking and meant something other than what you said or you were not. Which is it? You are taking up both positions now.
