Did YOU know...that most Americans do not know what a duvet ('Do-Vay') is? ...and yet, when a large, soft, stuffed blanket that goes atop the a thinner blanket and sheets is pointed out in a hotel room, they'll say, "What? The comforter?"...

"No, miss, I'm sorry. This is known as a duvet. It's just that the US tries to be different than everyone else in the world, like how Apple 'had to' name all the same functions and programs as Windows and Adobe programs by some different name...just for fun and defiance." =/
 
I go to work for a few hours... and now somehow everyone is covered in duvets...

Sure, it's safer than a Streams of Consciousness Nudist Colony, but somehow not quite the same...

And I'm feeling WAY too warm and smothered under this duvet.

I'm going to need ice cream to compensate.

Just take your work and Duvet to Alaska, The Yukon, Siberia, Greenland, Antarctica/The Arctic, or any other geographically frigid climate, and you'll be just fine...with all the ice cream you could ever want AND no possible way to be WAY to warm...ever. ^_^

When you go, send a post card...

You know...one of the benefits later in life is that they don't have 'hot flashes' in places like that... Just 'warm moments' before the cold sets back in. ^_~

I actually, (which i dont care who believes me...) Don't buy their products for myself. I get stuff from there for family members for Christmas, or birthdays or special occasions. Now, if someone were to buy ME something from there, then heck yea im gonna be wearing it...or using it! I just dont care to spend that kind of money on smellies when I can get it cheaper elsewhere.

No, I am not materialistic.... No... I dont buy nothing but brand name stuff. BUT... I do appreciate a good smelling bottle of perfume from time to time.. :rolleyes:

Didn't yo momma ever teach you about taking notes... (and not ADMITTING it out loud)?

Besides... Not everyone likes that store. Some actually prefer walmart brand... or even walgreens... Off brand store names.. I just like body sprays... they are more of refreshers than anything.:rolleyes:

((likes.. Body sprays))......oh notes ya...((not just bodyworks... Look around)).......... Well you know..doesnt always happen.... It's probably good to get the opinion of the girl working there if someone didn't tell you exactly what they like huh.... ..

Every woman is different, we like different smells, we like different things...

Myself....? I'm just weird *shrugs*... And I'm ok with that. :p

That looks awesome....I love the cold....I may turn the air-conditioner on when it is in the negatives....

NAW...... NAW.... NAW..... Been there!... Nu uh... Been there and i got told " there is somethin wrong with your nose... Don't do it again"........nu uh... Don't trust myself...
 
So, I'm back home from making the trip to ardmore with my brother to see our grandpa....

Grandpa passed away a few weeks ago and no one told us....

I cried on the way home and... sigh... My heart hurts... I miss my dad... I miss my grandpa... I never got to say 'Goodbye' to him....

Not sure what to think at the moment...only. It hurts. a lot.
