If homosexuality is an abomination to God, why do some Christians support it?

It will end when you stop making false pronouncements over what and why I post. I don't appreciate it, and that should be easy enough for you to understand. I have asked this of you many times but you just keep doing it and then further accuse me of playing the victim when I point it out to you and then further pretend that my pointing it out to you privately is going to help. Just stop.
I did that here, because otherwise the point would've been moot. It served no purpose, but if that is what you want to put forward, by all means. I am sorry for making an assumption as to why you shared what you did. Okay? I hope we can have a conversation without walking on egg shells, it isn't healthy.

Budman said the HS was God, and Jesus was God..

Is that not true?

You need to stop. Your not helping yourself.

Right, God the Father,God the Son and the Holy Spirit, three in one. Im watching this tennis game and not following. Someone fill me in?

Here's the grand argument: "Jesus did mention homosexuality." -Budman

Eternally... I'm eternally grateful for you.
Hope this clears up a few questions, you may have about my involvement here today.

This was right after he (Budman) called [some] Christians ignorant:

I don't get it. Its very simple. Jesus is God,they are in total agreement. The OT God is not different from the NT Jesus, they agree. Homosexuality is wrong throughout the Bible. Simple, problem solved, argument over.

I did - in post #13. But, I didn't call Magenta ignorant.

And ignorance isn't an insult - unless one is being willfully ignorant.

Ignorance simple means one who is lacking knowledge regarding a subject.

His point is that Jesus comes in agreement with the Father in reference to all sin, not just homosexuality. Though he did emphasize homosexuality as that is the given topic. To point out that Jesus didn't speak a word on homosexuality in no way promotes homosexuality as something righteous to partake in. If it is being used, in any fashion, as an endorsement for homosexuality the person needs to realize Jesus and the Father are of one accord. If the Father says homosexuality is sin, then Jesus too comes in agreement. That is the point, simply.

PS: NO, I am not saying that Magenta was trying to make this correlation. If I recall correctly, she was just simply stating a fact.

Jesus and God are One. Budman is right that God speaking in the OT is Jesus in the NT. They are in total agreement. Jesus and God are one in the same. They are of the same opinion. As Ben said, to say the words didn't come out of Jesus mouth is an irrelevant point because Jesus IS God. They agree 100%

Good luck!

1. Scripture is "God-breathed"

2. Jesus is God

3. Since Jesus is God, and Scripture is God-breathed, Jesus did personally condemn homosexuality.

4. 'nuff said.

Because it is true. People are so averse to the truth, though.
So its true, And this makes everything better?

The fact is, Whether he said it, or did not say it does not mean a thing, The ONLY fathomable reason to even say it, is because someone is using it as an excuse to be or support homosexuality, Since Jesus did not say it, it must be ok.

Someone RIGHTLY asked you about it,

You got ANGRY and started to attack

And we have spent the last half hour arguing nonsense, Where if you did not say it to begin with (it had no true meaning, or hel in the conversation) non of this would have happened.

Jesus never said anything about incest or bestiality...I'm quite sure He is against it...and would call it a sin.

Anything that is contrary to our true identity in Christ is a sin.....the Holy Spirit in us will let us know what is good and pure and holy and that exhibits the life of Christ in us.

The law of the Spirit of Life in Christ sets us free from the law of sin and death.

I will remind you some day that you said it does not mean a thing or does not matter whether Jesus did or did not say something. Okay? Good. Because it matters to me that Jesus was silent on this issue, even if it means absolutely nothing to you.

Can you tell me, what is the significance to you that Jesus was silent on this issue?
