and that is good but there is also is a time when we realize that they will not listen no matter what you say, time spent on deaf ears would be much better used for other things. eventually it just becomes senseless arguing

What would be nice is if other people would call them out also.

If one notices, I treat him like others, and just try to discuss his thoughts. As I did earlier, by asking him a question to confirm I was understanding.

It was when he again bore false witness that I confronted him. and it all started again.

It would be nice to just have a discussion, even if we disagree, And not listen to him and others lie about others.. Which gets old.

No need for thanks my friend I am a witness of how you mean well and I would do the same thing if you were in the wrong as well. Like I said I don't choose sides and if I am ever in the wrong I would appreciate it being pointed out as well

Is it bearing a false witness to repeat back what someone has written, so show up their contradictions, to question their heart? But to the hard hearted like EG it is like a waste of words, a peace offering trampled under foot.

Peter, I worry that your issues and feelings towards eg makes you see something that isn't there. I have been guilty of this many times and it wasn't until I realized what I was doing that I was able to see clearly. A lot of times our emotions and our view of people can cloud our judgement

Unfortunately I have him on "ignore"...so I can't see what is being posted most of the time..I gave him the chance to stop with the malice and slander but he keep at it so I just blessed him and now I pray for him BUT I "shook the dust off my feet " from him. When you tell someone over 30X times the same thing and then they continually say the exact opposite of what you say - there is some serious deception going on or dishonesty happening..either way..I just leave him with the Lord...He will be faithful to him and reveal Himself to him when the time comes. Blain. For me the definition of stupid is this.

1 - You are preaching chickens are safe because because the cluck.

2 - No I am preaching if they go in the hen house they are safe from the fox.

One statement proves the person is lying about another. Now that is stupid. Now you believe EG has good intentions.
I would suggest he is an aggressive individual set on a vendetta to wind up and generally disrupt things as much as possible to push his personal agenda. He displays all the tendencies that I fear a stone hearted person portrays.

Jesus talked about the pharisees about being dead inside. They had no empathy, mercy or forgiveness within them. It was just theology and proving points. The problem I have is in discussing points, equally the same can be spoken of to oneself.

What is becoming apparent is the main defence is claiming they are being slandered rather than in reality people are just expounding what they believe. From my perspective, resisting the Lord and corrupting His gospel like this leads those who are lost more astray, so I suppose let it ripe. They really do want to follow this road to its final destination.

I understand.....the way I look at it now...if after over 30x times being told something and yet they still say the complete opposite of what is said...it's time to let them be..we can't change anyone...only the Holy Spirit can reveal what He needs them to know....I view it as people can see what is being said and can tell that what is being said isn't true concerning others...so if we leave it in the Lord's hands - He will be our defender.

When they revile...we do not revile back..this was the scripture that came to me when dealing with certain people that are malicious and are slandering others..

We need to guard our hearts around those that revile us.....

Peter, I am not sure if you know me well enough yet to know that God gave me a gift to be able to read a persons heart pretty well. Eg while may having flaws is a really good guy he truly loves God and has been there for me when I was down and out, and you i know you too love God with all your heart I can tell you are a good guy and have a kind heart.
I am asking that you try to trust me about eg

When people say you believe this, And use that to try to fight you. And the person does not believe that. There can be no discussion, And we can not even agree to disagree, Because the one person does not even know what the persons believes.

If people like HeRose and Peter would stop listening to their training, or what they have been taught others believe, And stop trying to put people under categories based on key words. and ACTUALLY listen to what they are saying.

then we can discuss.

Until then, there can be no discussion.

Calling people calvanist, Arminian, Augustinian, Gnostic, Hypergrace does not help. All it does is put barriers up to real, god inspired discussion.

The reason why so many pastors, theologians, teachers are worried about this heresy is because it is very real and doing a lot of damage to the gospel. Now these types of splits have happened before and will happen again, but EG has decided it is personal. The problem is his approach is to pester someone until they crack.

He does this for weeks, and lost the plot a week or so ago, and his temper let rip. He will continue to say obedience to Christ and walking in righteousness is legalism, but that is fine by me. He has decided it is now slander to say he is not for obedience and righteousness, but if he has changed amen. In one conversation he changed his positions because they did not add up so I expect nothing more.

Anyway you manage to miss the approach he tried that he owns me, knows everything about me, and knows I am a hypocrite. Do you understand what that actually means? But probably not, but bless you. I know seriously Blain you mean well, but EG lost the plot a long long time ago.

Yes I know what a hypocrite means because in more ways than one I am a hypocrite.
