The question is if the Bible says "all writings God breathed" and it is translated "all scripture is God breathed" and Jesus says in Matthew 4:4 to live by every word of God then why should I accept 20% or less?
So if you say that Christians are to be more in Christ then aren't you making a doctrine? And how do you be more like Christ if you don't know who He is if you don't want to follow the word?

Fun fact, it was a woman preacher (joyce meyer) that led me to Christ in the wee hours of the morning while I was getting ready for work. My cell phone died that morning. Like it went kaput completely. So in stead of listening to my usual deathmetal music that morning, I sat down a flipped on the TV and for the first time ever I sat and watched her program..... The rest is well, all God.

My church doesn't elect anyone for pastorate. They only affirm what they believe is God's will.
Voting is wrong because the people who vote can be a majority and wrong:
Numbers 32:11 Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:
Numbers 32:12 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD.
The minority voted and only Caleb and Joshua entered the land.
The people voted for Barabbas over Jesus. The people voted to stone Joshua and Caleb (Numbers 14:10). The Christians drew straws and Matthias was an Apostle for a day but nothing was heard of him since because man elected Matthias and God didn't elect Matthias which is why we never hear anything from him in the Bible. The people elected Saul but God said, "...they have rejected me...."-1 Samuel 8:7
And while your people are voting, don't forget that they're supposed to be praying, "...not my will, but thine, be done". It is such a hypocrisy. You wouldn't be the first to offer strange fire before the Lord.

This prohibition of a woman to be a teacher, does not include the teaching of classes of women, girls, or children in a Sunday School, for instance, but does prohibit the woman from being a pastor, or a doctrine teacher in a school. It would not be seemly, either for a woman to teach a mixed class of adults."-p.48, 49, Word Studies in the Greek New Testament, Volume II, by Dr. Kenneth Wuest, one of the NASB Bible translators.

it is exactly this very attitude that has led to women being abused by their so called Christian husbands in church
just keep quiet...if he hit you, you must have deserved it
I was actually party to a session once, where the SIL , with a professional Christian counselor also present, said to the woman whose husband was in the habit of beating on her, 'You must have done something to make him hit you'
THAT is the attitude displayed by this men's club that would like to exclude women from life. Just cook and clean and put out 3 times a week.
If anything, many women could easily display far more godliness then the men that would like to shut them up
Are we to be Christian literalists? Well, believing that God's word given to us in scripture is 100% absolute truth is part of our faith is it not? To be more in Christ, are we not exhorted to examine the scriptures and apply them to our lives as well? Is not all scripture given to us by inspiration of God? Can we then not use the 66 books in the bible (Scripture) for our doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness?
2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Thus, when we examine anything that has become a doctrine in the church (well, our doctrine is in 66 books), we thus look towards what God has stated in His word for us which stands the test of time and does not change. Is that not part of the beauty of the bible, our 100% absolute truth? God's truth stands regardless of the time period, culture, or beliefs of mankind as time passes by.
The issue of women teaching or preaching is not being discussed. What we are looking at is the authority of women over men in the church as well as life in general. You brought up Priscilla, and this is the only example of a husband and wife team working to teach Apollos more correctly in Christ. There is no mention of women having headship in a family when all parts of a family are present, nor is there mention of women being elders and pastors in a church. We do have examples of women exercising spiritual gifts including teaching, but when it comes to exercising spiritual authority over a man, it is not present in the bible.
The real question is... is it our job to reinterpret the bible to fit in with our times? Or is it our job to ask the Lord to give us better understanding regarding His ways and how we can apply them in our lives?

Devorah was a judge and when there is a stronger (believer) Christian man around then that sort of behavior is not allowed.
