That's not Biblical slavery. That's Egyptian slavery. Biblical includes becoming slaves (for seven years) to family when you can't afford to live on your own anymore. Literally, family had to take you in and make you work. (Also had better ideas for thieves and POWs.)

My wife bought books for a women's Bible study at church but I had already done the research and I had to find some of the issues on the internet and print them out.
I put my foot down so my wife called the Bible study leader and they had to cancel the Bible study because they cared about church unity and everyone else was wondering why they bought the books but it was heresy and we need Christians who know the truth who are knowledgeable and who are willing to put their foot down. It wasn't like I didn't have degreed authors behind me. This should show everyone what the power of one person standing for truth can do but it also gets tiring where I have to work at this all the time because there are plenty of message boards where the religion or Christian forum is heresy central and on top of that, people don't read their Bibles. And no one stands with me because sometimes you have to study scripture as people are inventing heresy and I can't use people to back me up that haven't studied or who can't study so they have nothing to bring to the table.

That this privilege of being the children of God, and of being by baptism devoted to Christ, is now enjoyed in common by all real Christians. The law indeed made a difference between Jew and Greek, giving the Jews on many accounts the pre-eminence: that also made a difference betweenbond and free, master and servant, and between male and female, the males being circumcised. There are people still making a living off of the 6502 computer chip which is in pacemakers, avionics, camcorders, etc. One of them is a Wikipedia author and he corrects Wikipedia articles sometimes and sees the error. There is good and bad but there are very knowledgeable people who contribute to Wikipedia.

of our christian sisters, and their were/are times when
I'm pretty sure God ministers to my heart through them.
Is that a form of teaching/pastoring?

Whether or not they belong in the pulpit

Wow, some days I'm glad I'm not on here all the time. Can anyone give a scripture verse which justifies demeaning those with whom you disagree?
I have a view on these matters, formed by doing a lot of reading and praying on the subject. I suspect that some of those with whom I disagree have done significant homework too. So where does that leave us? Shall I condemn them to hell forever for their heresy, or shall I be condemned? How about... neither!
I recall reading Paul's words, "I heard there are divisions among you." I believe many if not all of us "follow Christ." Let's (re-)start there. We may not need to go anywhere else.

I need a pastor who does what Jesus told his disciples to do, but I cant find foot washers to save my life, you do that?
