It is obvious most here have not read the Word, not all of it anyway.

Alright. I'm going to ask you straight out:

Do you believe a Christian can lose their salvation through lack of obedience?

Says the one who thinks pharisees sat on their duff, and did not teach obedience or judge sinners?

We who read the Word with understanding know we are become Israel, no long considered Gentiles. Read below. If you do not understand we await the New Jerusalem of God's Israel, taught us in Revelation, then you will not understand that we who believe Jesus Christ are subjects of the King of the Jews destined to live in the new Kingdom coming down from God.......Yes I know the Kingdom is within our midst, but this is only a shadow of the Kingdom to come....

Among other texts in the Word, you will find that our obedience stems from our new nature. Now, though we are a creation and work of God, it is our due to attempt our best to conform to God's will. Here is just one exerpt from Epesians demonstrating we are to obey God, yet our perfection has nothing to do with anything we do, or could do, it is all a free gift from our Father. This by no means is dismissing any of us from doing our bet to be like Jesus Christ. If you do not understand it from me, learn it from the Word you claim to already know.

Eph 2:1
You used to be dead because of your offenses and sins,

Eph 2:2
that you once practiced as you lived according to the ways of this present world and according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit that is now active in those who are disobedient.

Eph 2:3
Indeed, all of us once behaved like them in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of our flesh and senses. By nature we were destined for wrath, just like everyone else.

Eph 2:4
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love for us

Eph 2:5
even when we were dead because of our offenses, made us alive together with the Messiah (by grace you have been saved),

Eph 2:6
raised us up with him, and seated us with him in the heavenly realm in the Messiah Jesus,

Eph 2:7
so that in the coming ages he might display the limitless riches of his grace that comes to us through his kindness in the Messiah Jesus.

Eph 2:8
For by such grace you have been saved through faith. This does not come from you; it is the gift of God

Eph 2:9
and not the result of actions, to put a stop to all boasting.

Eph 2:10
For we are God's masterpiece, created in the Messiah Jesus to perform good actions that God prepared long ago to be our way of life.

Eph 2:11
So then, remember that at one time you gentiles by birth were called "the uncircumcised" by those who called themselves "the circumcised." They underwent physical circumcision done by human hands.

Eph 2:12
At that time you were without the Messiah, excluded from citizenship in Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise. You had no hope and were in the world without God.

Eph 2:13
But now, in union with the Messiah Jesus, you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah.

You demonstrate in your question that you have not understood a word I have posted, reread then ask again, but I doubt you will ever understand. I have to answer right out because you asked thusly.

Since I seem to be such a simpleton, just answer yes or no, so that I might understand.

Once again: Do you believe a Christian can lose their salvation through lack of obedience?

Keep in mind when you are responding to anything people post, keep to what you are quoting and not to what you imagine you have understood.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:11
where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.

I am not, nor will I ever be a jew, I am a gentile, who follows the same God as the jews.

Romans 1:16
[ The Just Live by Faith ] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

Romans 10:12
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

I look for the new earth, and my new home, not just the new jerusalem.

I think this shows it.. He won;t answer, because he knows what it will get him.

He most likely has me on ignore.

I have heard his answer before, Unless he has changed, He believes one can lose salvation.

So do not let him back track.. He does that alot..

Why is it so hard for you to answer "yes" or "no" to my question?

It will literally only take a second, and will clarify much.

The law has done it's job and is now retired for the righteous. It was made for the unrighteous. We are the righteous ones in Christ.

As long as we walk in the spirit we will not do unrighteousness condemned by the law. But if we walk according to the flesh, the law condemns us.

However, if you carry out the royal law according to the scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well. But if you show partiality, you commit sin, [and thus] are convicted by the law as transgressors. James 2:8-9

This is the same word that is used in John 16:8; the verse that "Grace believers" use to try to make it look like the holy spirit doesn't convict believers of sin.

You people who think you are above the Father and say "I will do as I understand, and not as You have taught me by your Only Begotten Son, for I know better!" This is the work of Satan

Do not trample the Blood of the Lamb.

don't back off bro.. Think about it, if his answer was no, He would have no problem answering you.

He will not answer because he knows saying yes, will prove all he just said to be a insincere. and he does not really have faith in what he said.

Stop being a coward and answer my question. Take a stand for what you are teaching and simply answer yes or no:

Do you believe a Christian can lose their salvation through lack of obedience?

Thats why we need grace to begin with. because we are not perfect.

ALL SIN, occurs when we look to the flesh, and ignore the spirit.

But since you do not understand grace, That is hard for you to see.
