No,insurance is all over the place. Certainly there needs to be changes made in health care but to say you can't be seen at an ER without insurance isn't true. There are ways to get around not having insurance if you can't get work or have some other issue. But as I said,being Canadian, many people come to the US when they have cancer or some other serious disease,for treatment.
