Probably be better if y'all didn't speak and her comments are quite pointed to you and not "everyone".
She could be more diplomatic about it but I can see how your words might rub the wrong way.
Probably not your intentions but perhaps you Should be made aware of it to prevent future misunderstandings?
For example, your post implies that anyone who don't see as you do is not part of the "true Church".
Though many Christians fall into, the sectarian trap, it goes against the Bible.
In Acts Paul spoke,to the Athenians and called them children of God Even though they were pagan worshippers of idols.
All humans are descendents of Adam and under the curse. God calls us to give them the gospel of salvation through Christ and bring all people back into the fold...therefore all are meant to be parts of the Body but not all have learned to function properly and many still need to be washed in the Blood.
In order to talk with you about this, you will have to clarify how my post has me implying she is not a member of the true church. I didn't say that anywhere in it. In fact, I can see that it isn't even wise to try to determine that at this time because she's going through some really tough things based on posts of hers I read elsewhere. I have hoped her ungentleness is related to these trials and that she usually walks much more gently.
I have seen, even two people just recently, this morning, implying to you that YOU are not of the true church. I wanted to call them on that behavior, but I didn't, because from what I have come to see of you, you would handle it with tact and love and patience.
But you will have to explain some more to me about how you think I have done this to her or to you or to anyone. I don't need someone to agree with me on all things to know if they are my true brothers and sisters. I only need to see fruit of the Spirit to know that. In fact, I and Grace777 have disagreed on a matter in the tongues thread. There was love and patience and humbling ourselves to each other in that conversation. That we agree or disagree is not what shows she is the true church. Oops, I mean HE. Grace 777 is a he (I did it AGAIN, B!) It is the
fruit that shows him to me as belonging to me in Christ.
We were told we would know our brothers and sisters by their fruit. This fruit is unmistakable. I do it as I've been told to do. I don't judge who is my brother by agreement or disagreement or political affiliation or denomination. I judge by the fruit. The fruit shows in how they act or talk or relate to others.
Now if you mean to say that I judge by whether we agree as to if we are brothers, you can easily go to the thread on tongues and see quickly that it is not so. But you would of course expect that those walking in the Spirit would come to a unity, even despite disagreeing on some points. So I can judge if someone is my brother in the EXACT way I was told to judge it so I would know them - by their fruit.
If that doesn't clear it up, then you will have to explain in a little more detail what you were were trying to say about making me aware of rubbing the wrong way in order to avoid future misunderstandings.
