Where its ok to not talk about American politics and your from the other side of the world and up at different time zones

but Americans are welcome here too but please A.P free zone here
Specifically a thread that doesnt derail onto american politics
or talking about stuff pertaining to only to USA or Georgia (a joke from another forum basically we werent from georgia bit the OP wanted specifically to talk to georgia ppl) or the particular stuff Im suppose to know about your State which I have no idea

Really aimed at us on the other side of the world/ outside of U.S with all respect
MAke a cup of tea and talk about your country

Who knows if your from the U.S you might learn several new things about our countries here

So Im gonna start ... I saw this cycle race thing in finland on sky (NZ cable tv) and the countryside kinda looks like country towns in Britain ,
some of the houses ,architecture , trees but im prob wrong but just what I observed ... maybe a little?

NZ flag debate thats New Zealand
Weve got the old flag again have they spent the 26 million?- thats a waste of money

Lol!

Well, can I talk about Philippine Politics? It's our national election next month and I'll be home by then for vacation, and I get to vote too. Lol. That'd be my first time voting in my 25 years of existence xD I'm kinda excited and really hoping for this one guy to win presidency. They're gonna restructure the country and make it federal or something like that lol!

I better be fair and let other folks/ nations talk about there politics just with A.P its everywhere and it gets a bit repetitive. Probably a reflection of me I find the topic of politics boring but thats me

Yes, three! Cebuano is my native, I'm fluent in both Filipino and English, and I've just started learning SingLish (Singaporean English) xD lol.

I tried learning Mandarin when I got here, seeing almost everyone speaks it, but after learning that I had to study the Mandarin alphabet separately, I thought it was gonna take forever lol.

Haha, I still don't quite get how to be fluent in Singlish lol! It's basically English (UK) in the accent of Chinese with random Malay and Indonesian words, and the Mandarin intonation, of course.

The struggle gets real when I'm in at church. I'm the only foreigner in our team and there are so many times when I don't get their joke and they don't get mine xD

In the Philippines, Filipino (Tagalog) and English are the two major languages. Filipino is more widely spoken than Cebuano (minor language). I had to learn all 3 languages since I started schooling at 5-6 years old. And I haven't stopped xD

What are the other cultures in your church? You mentioned you have people from many parts of the world!
