Has this affair thing been resolved yet? It wouldn't surprise me a bit if it's true. I'd trust Cruz about as much as I'd trust a used car salesman.

*Updated* – The National Enquirer Runs Story of Multiple Ted Cruz Affairs… | The Last Refuge
Well, he has to start ruling the world somewhere.

Revelation 6:5 When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”

Like all of the leading Republican presidential contenders, Ted Cruz has vowed to pass a series of implausibly large tax cuts that would disproportionately benefit the wealthy. But is his plan so heartlessly regressive that it would actually raise taxes on the poor? http://www.slate.com/blogs/moneybox/2016/02/16/ted_cruz_s_tax_plan_the_poor_could_end_up_paying_m ore.html

Just like Mitt was the fall guy for Obama. The game is that they uses Rubio to collect the votes of the republicans that opposes Cruz's ideas and win over their trust. And then Rubio jumps from out of the race handing over the ones that had opposes Cruz's ideas, making a very good and long speech that they should put their trust in Cruz because he is an devoted Republican and that Republicans should never abandon the political race. But Trump had came into the scene like a typhoon and had ripped up their plans. They were counting on receiving money from all of them bribes that corporate america has to offer, and Cruz and Rubio will split it among each other 60/40, until they had saved up enough to buy life time supply of call girls, but for Rubio, a life time supply of studs. That is why at those debates, that Rubio and Cruz was shoveling their chest into Trump at those debates because Trump was shattering their dreams.

Why do we post garbage from the National Enquirer known for spewing trash and lies about people in a Christian forum? And Cruz is a Christian brother too. Is this how we are to treat fellow brothers in the Lord?

This junk is ungodly behavior and does nothing but stir up divisions and malice amongst the brethren.

Reporting here for people to consider what is being reported out there is nothing more than educating the brethren.

This is no worse than what has been published/stated about Trump, or Hillary, or any of the other Candidates.

We ALWAYS have to consider the source when giving thought to these stories, and determine the value/validity of them.

While the N.E. is pretty much a "rag," the HAVE gotten some of their stuff right in the past.......several "high profile" folks were outed by the Enquirer.

Anyway, I would think we are all mature enough to consider the source, and the evidence provided (in this case: ZERO) and then either laugh or cry.

:)

Granted the National Enquirer is a rag paper more for entertainment purposes...

But consider this...

1. They have never been sued successfully when it comes to stories like these... somewhere they have enough proof to stand their ground... Is the story embellished? You know it is! But there is probably a kernel of truth to it.

2. Mainstream media would never be the "first" to report on this because they would get torn apart - but NOW they can....

I agree to a lot of the elements of what you are saying but definitely not an article of slander ( under the disguise of "educating" the brethren ) that has not been verified especially as you say from a "rag" ...and especially against a fellow believer ( even if they are not in the political party we like ).

Philippians 4:8 (NASB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

There was nothing of any of the qualities above in that ungodly post from the National Enquirer about one of our fellow brethren. The purpose of the article was to bring slander and malice towards a Christian brother.

Wasn't it them who outed John Edwards?

Submitted herewith:

John Roberts of South Carolina who ran for President a few years ago. They pretty much destroyed his Candidacy, his marriage, and his life when they reported on his transgressions. BTW......proven true.

(just saying)

Now, I do not (at this point) believe the story on Cruz simply because of the very carefully worded language in the Story designed to protect them from Civil Liability.

Cruz didn't do himself any favors by publicly blaming Trump and his crew for "planting" the Story either.

If these things are true about Ted, someone somewhere knew about them long before the enquirer put this out. There is no doubt in my mind that when men go to Washington they have everything but the kitchen sink thrown at them and very few have the character to resist.

Even a blind squirrel finds that acorn every now and then.... their overall record is laughable.... or despicable, choose your adjective...

edit: and while I admit to being biased, I would not believe a story about Trump, or even Hillary, if it was posted in that parakeet cage liner disguised as a "news" magazine.

According to FNC Pundits yesterday, these "rumors" have been around for awhile. However, there has never been ANY actual evidence to substantiate the "rumors," so none of the Media would report on them.

They left the door WIDE OPEN for the Enquirer did they not?

I suppose they did. But that is how Washington works. The friend of my enemy is my friend or whatever. These people will stop at nothing to get a bill passed or a President elected or a person ruined.

I don't see it as "slandering' Cruz as much as "revealing" the Enquirer for what they really are.

The purpose of the Article in the Enquirer was to do as much damage as possible to Cruz and his Candidacy.......I don't think the Enquirer folks are Christian..........dunno, maybe? But, they don't seem to care who they slander.

As for being appropriate here on C.C.

I would suggest you venture over to the BDF and review some of the threads there! :)

This is the News Forum, and when FNC/CNN/and the other Media outlets began to report on it, it did become News.

There is another thread here displaying the "silly" stuff, and the "nasty" stuff being said about one of the Candidates or the other...........showing how messy/nasty this Political process truly is.

The funny thing about this Cruz scandal is that it the source of it was likely the golden boy of several people around here.
