Idk. Pain is always there with me after working out and I've worked out consistently for a year.
Yeah. Me too.

Its just less intense than it was at first.
Yeah, it gets less intense. After my first two weeks, I stopped feeling pain. Maybe there's something I'm not doing right!!

I think the soreness comes from a combination of intensity and volume.

At first, the intensity and volume are more than your body is used to and it makes you sore.

But if you keep the intensity and volume relatively the same then your body gets used to it and you aren't sore anymore.

I've been going for as many reps as possible on my last, heaviest set and this always makes me at least a little sore. Because every week I increase the weight.

Yep, same here. I am sore whenever I do an intense workout. I have been working out for a year now.

I need to lose some major weight, like a full sized man's worth of weight.

True! I used to gasp for air after walking up two levels of stairs. Now I can make it to 7th floor! I live in the 13th floor, so I still need some more of that endurance.

My former martial arts teacher taught me a exercise some years ago; walk up the stairs bent over (it is the only way to do it, actually) with your thumb and other fingers holding the back part of your foot just above your heel. Insane w/o.

I find that I get less tired if I'm listening to non-stop Taylor Swift (and other upbeat pop songs) songs while working out xD

Only problem I've noticed so far, is I tend to sing along, in the process, gasping for more air. xD

Yesterday was deadlift day.

They call it deadlift because you die a little bit after each one.

I wanted to get 10 reps on my last set but only hit 8.

The good news is that my back feels fine after doing heavy squats and heavy deadlifts. The rev hypers helped alot.

I'm almost back to 100%. yay.

I had a happy workout session today! No. Who was I kidding? My workout plan has, rather, intensified. I'm alarmed!! I don't wanna look like muscleman.

Today was squat day.

I had thoughts of not working out today. Then not working out ever again. Then taking a break for a few months.

But I ignored all those thoughts and just went downstairs and started. It went really good. I think I'm already at my goal for October, for squats.

Its good to be encouraged when you're feeling a little down.

Lol! Amen! I had the same thoughts when I did my workout yesterday. I couldn't help notice the many reasons to NOT workout lol. I thought the room was too dirty. And that I could do it tomorrow lol, I had to shut off the brain and let the body work lol. Feels good!
