How do you tell who gave you Reputation points? I had one rep point that had a question attached. I don't even know who to answer.

I have asked admins previously and was told admins didn't have the capability either.
I always leave my name to be polite. Sometimes I can figure out who repped me. On the other hand, maybe people don't want their names to be known, they like anonymity.
As for someone leaving a question and no name, isn't that their problem?
On another topic I am ready to stop autocorrect. One day I will leave all in the autocorrects in my posts and you will see the chaos they cause. Greek is the worst, especially the transliterations. But today it actually turned one word in Greek fonts to another word, maybe the deponent?

When I just joined here someone gave me a rep that he'd marry me straight away. Wait who is this? Yes I do!!!! Oh well, lol, still no idea who made the joke.

Reputation points are biased, slanted, and full of self righteous bigotry, legalistic jargon, and foolishness based on not being 'politically correct". You can tell that I've been zapped and not allowed to explain the circumstances or misspellings that led to me acquiring 3 of them that lasts for several months..up to a year...depending on who's soft shelled ego was cracked. I have been cursed, threatened and more, due to some of my forum responses...yet nothing or nobody wanted to see my side of the story. There is no real justice for anyone here. It's all in how somebody else interprets your comments. A lady told me that if her pet poodle was not allowed into heaven to be with her, then she did not want to go there. I simply asked her "but what if your poodle goes to hell? Will you decide to join it there?". I was immediately banned from the Christian website for over a month..along with a reputation point that lasts a year. Imagine that!
Um, pwrnjc, those would be infraction points, NOT reputation points. :/ Rep points give you powers, infraction points gets you banned if you reach 15 of them.
Really? How does that work? The ban points I mean. Is a bad word worth 2 points or something? Not being a wise guy just curious.

Most people keep the fact that they have 3 infractions to themselves and those who choose to make them public at least have the integrity to be honest about the circumstances. Since you chose to make the issue public and not be honest about it you kind of put us in the position of having to make real story public to rebut your unfounded claims.
Your first infraction came in the form of a warning (0 points) for calling someone names in chat. This was something that the Moderator saw first hand in chat thus he would not have needed to get you side of the story.
Your second infraction came with only 2 points for self righteously judging someone for starting a thread about dogs. This was the post.
Your third infraction came with 4 points for continuing in your habit of judging what you perceive to be threads that don't belong on a Christian forum. This had been (and still is) an ongoing habit of yours and if we had issued an infraction every time you did it you would have been removed a long time ago.
You can't even claim that someone on staff had it out for you because each of your infractions were issued by a different staff member.
Since you decided to blatantly misrepresent your infractions here and malign the staff that volunteer thousands of hours a year to serve you in making this site available, you just earned the balance of your points toward a ban.
Albeit we have some loose guidelines regarding infraction points, a lot of it really is on a case by case basis.
Likes don't add to your rep points. Post counts do, and the amount of powers that whoever reps you does.
Every 100 rep points earns you a power. A certain amount of posts do also, but it varies for everyone. Also for every year that you are here, you get 1 rep. Take a look at your number of rep points and count how many you need until you reach the next 100 point level..

OK. Now I see. Was wondering cause others with far fewer posts have much higher rep points. I will behave in the hope that I might earn more good rep points.
When I give rep I always put my name it in it, I get rep a lot not to boast as I in no way wish to be prideful but the main thing that I notice is I can never see who gave it to me I always want to thank such people personally but can never really tell who did it.
I don't think rep is all the important either, it doesn't decide who we are in Christ and doesn't make us any better than anyone else on the other hand when I see people with very high rep points I can only assume they must show God's heart a lot

You are not able to see other people's rep points. The number of rep powers a person has determines how many rep points you gain. For example, I believe BeyondET just repped you, so you gained 12 points because he has 12 rep powers.
