With all due respect, the information that you have listed above would be no less conjecture on your part and that because there is no scriptural support regarding the references to Islam and Muhammad. Consider the following:

The word "Eikon" translated as "image" is defined properly as, "mirror-like representation," referring to what is very close in resemblance." Personally, I believe that the "image" that the false prophet has the inhabitants of the earth make, is in fact the abomination mentioned in Dan.9:27 and quoted by the Lord in Mt.24:15, which will be set up in the holy place within the temple. In any case, how could the inhabitants of the earth make an image of the beast out of the sea if the beast is Islam? It wouldn't make any sense! And if I am correct in that the image is actually the abomination, then it would be even more difficult to explain how an image of Islam could be placed in the holy place.

The word "Beast" is used to describe that last day kingdom, having the characteristics of the previous kingdoms. The word "Beast" is also used to describe the ruler of that last day kingdom, for scripture states that both the beast and the false prophet are captured and thrown alive into the lake of fire, which would demonstrate that these are two actual living beings.

As I am sure that you are aware, whenever interpreting scriptural information, we must of course look to the scriptures in order to come to a correct conclusion. That said, here are the characteristics for Mystery Babylon, also referred to as "the woman" and "the great prostitute."
"And the woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth."
"The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits."
"The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls"
That great city:
At the time that John was receiving this information from the angel, Rome was that great city that ruled over the kings of the earth.
The seven heads are seven hills:
Rome was literally built on and is famous for her seven hills, the seven hills of Rome.
The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet:
Purple and scarlet are the exact colors worn by the Catholic liturgy.
She was glittering with gold
Scripture states that the kings of the earth will commit adultery with the woman. According to Strong's, the definition of the word "adultery" here in the figurative sense, means to be unfaithful to Christ, while posing as His true follower. Islam does not fit this, but Roman Catholicism does to a tee. For she is proclaiming to be the true church, but with just a cursory look, the true Christian sees her for what she is, an imposter, a counterfeit. Islam as a religious belief is not a city that ruled over the kings of the earth nor does Islam sit on seven hills. Rome, with her counterfeit church based in the Vatican, meets every condition as being Mystery Babylon. It is my belief that, one of her future popes will play the part of the second beast, the false prophet.

While it is true that the last seven years are the fulfillment of the seventy seven year periods decreed upon Israel and Jerusalem, during that same time God will also be dealing with the entire world, by pouring his wrath out via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments and by all the plagues that the two witnesses will be performing. Nebuchadnezzar's dream regarding the statue, which represents all human government, will be smashed to be pieces like chaff on the threshing floor and blown away by the wind, never to be found again. Yes there is scriptural support for Islam and Muhammad but keep in mind neither existed for over 500 year until after the Bible was finished being written so neither are called by name. Who are the Children of those we lived in and around Israel for millennia and were thorns in the sides of her? It's the same people who live there today. Nothing has changed. I ask you to read Gal 4:21-31. Paul completely explains the "Sons of Hagar" using certain symbols and imagery which Jesus and John also use. If you have knowledge and eyes to see, you can understand. Gal 4 contains the answer key to many of these symbols that nobody understands, until now. Let me show you:
Hagar - Bondwoman - Flesh (Gal 4:But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh)

That is as they say, really grasping at straws to try and force Islam as being Mystery Babylon. On the other hand, Rome with her counterfeit church fits perfectly. As I pointed out, Islam is not a city that ruled over the kings of the earth, it doesn't sit on seven hills and they do not wear purple and scarlet, which are the exact colors that the bishops and cardinals wear. The RCC is also committing adultery in that, she is being unfaithful to Christ, while posing as His true follower, where Islam is a pagan belief and is not proclaiming to be of Christ. Rome, as the counterfeit church fits the prophecy perfectly.
The 1st beast is political, one-worldism, which gets the deadly wound.

The First Beast is the BEAST from the SEA. Sea is not the ocean. Sea are unruly people. Beast is a political power. So Rev 13 is describing an evil POLITICAL power coming up from unruly people north of Israel. This kingdom existed before but was mortally wounded (meaning it died) but an image or copy of it comes back - yet lived!! This can only mean that the Ottoman Empire which was ISLAMIC died but a copy (mirror image) of it comes back. The Ottoman Empire was a radical Islamic killing machine of Christians and fellow Muslims. Sound familiar? Is there a radical political power from unruly men beheading Christians and killing fellow Muslims to the North of Israel who wants to invade and destroy Israel?
Daniel writes the anti christ will honor a god of fortresses, and John writes the anti christ denies the Father and the Son. The anti christ cannot be any one from a Christian organization, even if they practice unChristian teachings.
I believe the false prophet will be Isa, the man who claims to be Jesus, actually. In Islamic prophecy, Isa will come and claim he never called himself the son of God, and that he was not crucified. He will claim to be a prophet of God and point people to follow the Mahdi. According to Muhammad, Christ was only a prophet. So I think this Isa will be the false prophet, as Islam tells us this prophet will be with their Mahdi : p
And mystery babylon is definitely Mecca, the bible tells us its the religious city in the desert in Edom by the red sea, in fact God calls it the "Mother of All Abominations", Mecca actually means "Mother of all Settlements" : p

Actually, Rome doesn't fit at all. Islam fits perfectly. Every single clue fits Islam.

1. Not a False Religion, worships true God

Islam isn't the beast. Islam is the Harlot, Mystery Babylon, which is the world's largest false religion. The Beast is a political power that supports the Harlot. "Crusaders and Jews don't dare to come on the ground because they were defeated in Iraq and Afghanistan," he said.
He also threatened ISIS attacks in Israel, saying the terror network would attempt to establish a stronghold there as well.
"Jews, soon you shall hear from us in Palestine, which will become your grave," Baghdadi reportedly said.
"The Jews thought we forgot Palestine and that they had distracted us from it," he added. "Not at all, Jews. We did not forget Palestine for a moment. With the help of Allah, we will not forget it."
The message said that a U.S.-led coalition military campaign and Russian air strikes have failed to weaken ISIS.
"Be confident that God will grant victory to those who worship him, and hear the good news that our state is doing well. The more intense the war against it, the purer it becomes and the tougher it gets," the leader said.
President Obama has defended his strategy of fighting ISIS with a bombing campaign local ground forces, saying the group has lost 40 percent of the territory it once held.

You should go and read the history of the popes and the RCC of what they did to Jews and how they controlled kings and their armies and their involvement in the inquisitions when they were in power and threatened excommunication. When that antichrist is revealed, it will put the RCC and her pope back into power and anyone who does not belong to the RCC will be deemed a heretic, punishable by torture, death or both, just as the popes and the RCC did throughout her history. When that antichrist is revealed, the pope of that time will play the part of the false prophet and will be given power to perform satanic miracles, signs and wonders in order to deceive the inhabitants of the earth (2 Thes.2:9-11, Rev.13:13-14)

Anyone who is following the practices of the RCC is not a Christian. Remember, we are told that there are Lord's many and gospels many. The Lord they follow and the gospel they preach is not the same as the one we read of. This can be ascertained by just looking at what they practice, such as the worship of the queen of heaven, which unfortunately was transferred upon Mary and mother and son worship which was transferred upon Mary and Jesus. Both of these stem from the mystery religions of Babylon. Sacraments is salvation by works. There is an Egyptian pagan obelisk sitting out in St. Peter's square of the institution that is claiming to be the true church. The teaching of suffering in purgatory before one can be allowed in heaven, as though Jesus sacrifice wasn't sufficient. The changing of the bread and wine into the Eucharist with the related teaching of transubstantiation, just to name a few. The system of the RCC is in no way Christian and neither are those who follow those practices. It is true that God has people who are within the RCC, for he will be calling them out of her so that they will not partake of her plagues. But Mystery Babylon/RCC is going to be destroyed by God via the beast and the ten kings during that last 3 1/2 years.

Amazing! Even after I provided all of the proof, then you say "Rome doesn't fit at all." Just ignore the fact that the woman sits on seven hills and Rome was literally built on and is famous for her seven hills. That Rome was that great city that ruled over the kings of the earth. That the RCC's liturgy is dressed in purple and scarlet and is glittering with gold. You will just have to wait and find out that the RCC is Mystery Babylon.
