Hmm I was thinking the same not to long ago but my mum never got into. There is a thought that would require Internet Skype but would maybe learn dancing with you I like Greek or Jewish but as long as it's dancing but maybe not salsa type ones or pilates yoga that's more exercise we could watch the YouTube videos at the same time and Skype it video call

But I'll leave you to think about it
And I'm not sure in the Lord so pray about it too. But at least it would be physical active and you'd have someone/'s to do it with
That's an interesting idea. I'll think about it. Gotta consider our time difference though, thats like 4 or 5 hours. I tried running and got my running shoes and everything, but it gets really really tiring lol. Though I only did that for like 5 mins. Maybe I should give it a try again.

I play music, am currently encouraging a friend to start playing music together with me again, and start playing shows and open mics and stuff like that again. And I also like listening to music.

Other than that, though. I dont really do much, no : p I wanna find some new hobbies though, especially outside hobbies. I feel like I waste the warm seasons too much and regret it when it gets cold again, so I wanna find an outdoor activity to do. Maybe Ill go hiking, just need to find a friend on an equal level of fitness that would like to do it with me : p
If I remember correctly, you play bass guitar right?

I once tried jogging, but I wear flat bottom shoes, and I quickly realized the importance of wearing the right shoes when running when I did : p
After about two blocks my legs were in all kinds of pain : p

If I remember correctly, you play bass guitar right?
Mostly, yeah : p I play it when we play together. Ive learned how to play a few instruments but I mostly focus on bass guitar.

I have way too many hobbies...

I like to read, play golf (not well), ride the bike, cook, and many activities involved with my shooting/reloading. Nearly any kind of "crafty" kind of thing involving hand-work..... woodwork, leatherwork, that kind of thing... I like working with my hands.

(I don't know if smoking cigars and sipping whisky could be considered hobbies)

Cooking, reading, researching, gardening, raising worms, and all forms of arts and crafts. Recently, I've decided to pick up playing the mandolin again.

The last time I ran on a treadmill a month ago I so didn't like cardio I was like on it for a minute and then like jumped off i should do it I was so bored with it I like to swim tho. Yes I think time difference would make it difficult so maybe no. I like the whole idea it encourages me. Sounds fun dancing.

I like tying belay and knots with rope with a caribinner I'd like to think I could rope rappel if I had to. But I only know two knots.
You CAN rappel. It is not difficult at all. Although it was standard and required in the Military, four of us used to sneak our equipment out on weekends and go to a canyon about 20 miles South of the base and rappel down the walls of the cliffs.

Sneaky and sounded cool. I'm not sure of the terms but I've since learnt how to tie the ropes to a base of some kind with only ropes and that way also allows to retrieve the rope which is handy too I watched a YouTube video. I like the Prusik knot

I know the Italian friction hitch which is used for emergency for descending if you don't know any other knots.

My wife and I kayak. We each have our own kayaks. And we motorcycle. She rides on the back. I used to fly a bit, but not since the stroke. Besides, since I just have an ultralight, I'm getting a little too fat for that... as you can see from the photos.

That will be my next hobby, dieting. LOL

I've never done South African (rope only) rappeling. This is the only rappelling I've done... with a standard, double loop carbineer hookup.
The video really starts at about 48 seconds.

Of the hobbies that I didn't mention in the other thread...

I'm a Sherlockian (or, if you're across the pond, Holmesian).

And I don't mean the BBC series, which is awesome...

I mean the original books. The Canon.

And the back stories behind the stories.

And the people behind the characters.

And the theories and plot holes in the stories.

Seriously. Ask me why they think Watson's middle name was Hamish.

I'm kidding, don't - because I will tell you.
