The arena of God is not the things that man esteem but what God esteems. The kingdom of God is not in words that men admire..but power in the Holy Spirit

If we are not united by the Spirit, we are divided by the flesh. If the members are not allowed to minister with their respective functions one unto another, then there is NO unity in the Spirit. Saying we are in unity is laughable.
Only when the ministry gifts are flowing in us and out to others, is there a real concrete spiritual unity. Just sitting in a pew every Sunday morning with duct tape on our mouths is tantamount to the arm saying to the leg 'we have no need of thee'.(shut up). 1Cor. 12:21

Jesus said 'let there be no divisions among you'. 1Cor. 1:10

The biggest divider in Christendom is the 'church'. The first division is the clerical/laity division. The second divisions are caused by the 'pastor' himself. When he withholds the 'body' members from realizing their gifts and functions that unite one member to another by the ministry of the Holy Spirit, division and impotence is accomplished. This was satans grand scheme to annihilate and dismantle the power of God in the ekklesia. That power can only be activated by unity in the Spirit.

'A house divided against itself cannot stand', Mark 3:25 Then the larger divisions. How many denominations are there anyway, all competing for numbers which means cash?

In Corinth there was no Baptist, Pentecostal, Assemblies of God, Church of God, etc., etc., divisions. Just one ekklesia. The ekklesia of Corinth. Many house assembles but just one Ekklesia. That was the mind set.

Final thought for you to ponder.
Romans 16:17. ' I urge you brothers and sisters to watch out for those WHO CAUSE DIVISIONS AND PUT OBSTACLES IN YOUR WAY (that will not allow the members to use their spiritually unifying functions in an open participatory meeting) that is in stark contrast to the teaching you have learned. KEEP AWAY FROM THEM.'

Now you know why I 'don't go to church'. Why should I lean into a left hook? And pay for the privilege?

An honest question for you Yet.
If you came to our Bible study tonight, what would want to do?
How would you "minister" to us?
How much time would you expect to have?

Are you ignoring my question?

I've been in many a 'church service' (you won't find that term in your bible), where the Holy Spirit was giving me a clear word to share.......but, I couldn't share it because the 'pastor' was on his soap box. I would have been 'out of order' if I Interrupted, according to 'church' protocol. So I went home frustrated again. After years of being forced to 'hide my light under a bushel', the pain of not being fulfilled in my own personal ministry, what God gave me, it was excruciating.

It affected my whole family. Titus 1:11 (vain deceivers) ...they must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households by teaching things they had ought not to teach (for fun) and that for the sake of dishonest (financial) gain.'

My kids lost all interest in 'going to church'..you won't find that phrase in your bible either. They saw dad living in depression because of church and its divisions and control, not to mention the bullets I was sweating paying the ungodly tithe.

I wasn't a CORRUPT contractor like most of the guys in the church that were stealing money from their clientele. (I could tell you a story or two), I was a factory worker on low wages.

So struggling financially and not allowed to use their gifts according to your bible, the folks whither and die slowly, to embarrassed to bring the subject up.

See Sardis church. It had a name on the marque saing it was ALIVE but it was DEADER than dirt.

All because of these division causing and clerical command and control centers.

Not sure what it all is but I'll tell you what it isn't. It's not the assembly of the saints according to your bible. I've already proven that with YOUR bible!
The scriptures can be a down right ugly thing, you know it. To the gain sayers, those that contradict the word of God.

Titus 1:9 (One who oversees, )'He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message AS IT HAS BEEN TAUGHT, so thst he can encourage others by SOUND DOCTRINE and REFUTE THOSE WHO OPPOSE IT'.

Note, it says, as the word HAS been taught, past tense, not how IT IS being taught, currently.

With all the half truths you espouse I would not fault a pastor for not wanting you to speak.

You may not find church service in the bible but you will find forsake not the assembling of yourselves together.

A root of bitterness springing up defiles many.

Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

You are always right in your own eyes and never consider that you are working against Gods purposes.

That's why we've got so many denominations. A guy gets frustrated sitting on his ministry for years and years so he goes out and starts another 'church', perpetuating the whole control fiasco over again.

You should have left much sooner and find a place where they're happy someone wants to do something and where there isn't all that stuff going on. The pastor my mother had was always happy when someone like that joined. He had a job and only spoke sometimes himself. He was too naive though. Church split because he didn't know a new guy who wanted to preach and he took half of his church and started a new one. He had meetings where everyone could say what they did not like about him. Just horrible my mom said. There was no respect for him whatsoever. Everything he did was wrong. Unbelievable.
Not all churches and pastors are the same.
My ex got a new guy from a Bible school in church. A friend. Great! Some help! He knew everything better. So arrogant, horrible. Lol my ex didn't get paid but he had to get money for it which we didn't even have. Me me me and my kingdom.

At what point does it begin to seep into your head that sheep are not hearing the voice of God in you?

You blame the church for your children not continuing on in the faith but really it is at home where they learn to be faithful.

Come on Roger...you are not trying to hear what Yet is saying.. He is right on many of these issues and if you look deep and pray a out it..you will see that.

I've heard him and found him to be a promoter of disorder within the body.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

No good will ever come out of attacking all pastors without respect to merit. God appoints pastors not men and it is unwise to undermine their God given authority. There are bad ones but many are precious gifts from God.

What I see is a man who demands to have the preeminence in the assembly and if denied that he works with purpose to destroy the assembly.

Well first Yet makes very clear biblical arguments and I don't see a condemnation. Made against any godly man...the whole religious order was corrupted from the time of Rome..and many of those perversions remain ...I find Yet a voice of honesty

Good for you but I find just the opposite to be true. I'm not going to argue the point but you proceed at your own risk.

It's understandable with the controlling pastors he had, but he goes too far. Now all pastors are bad and it's not Biblical to have a pastor. Overseeers are Biblical.
He's just like a guy in Holland. I've been to the same big church he was in with an apostle who first split from another church. The guy was simply controlling. I went to one Bible study from him and stopped. No way jose, went to another Bible school from a guy who was not controlling. I just had to cry. Couldn't stand it. All the pastors he had under him broke with him, because he was too controlling. They pastored a church but had nothing to say and no money of course, only he got an income. We were in his church. He wanted my ex to become a pastor for him. Then he could have a job and work for church for free oh and how he spoke to that pastor's wife: you have to know that! I thought no way I am becoming a pastor's wife under you. Luckily my ex didn't want it either.
Now one guy stayed there for years and was never allowed to do anything, he saw all that, so he speaks just like Yet. But he also sees now that there are good pastors. He now more or less pastors others but that doesn't work. They do what they want. He's no pastor. Some live in fornication and pray for people on the street. He also complained about pastors getting money. But now that all those guys work full time for the Lord it's: hey we should give money to these people.

God gifts the church with pastors.

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

God does not gift the kind of men you describe. Those come from men heaping to themselves teachers having itching ears.

That guy who called himself an apostle is a gift to the Body but he needed a heart change. The guy that goes out doesn't say he's anything, just a believer, but he and those that follow him, yes they post the weirdest stuff on Facebook. They have no pastor to protect them so they fall for false grace, Crowder, preterism, Todd Bentley, everything goes.

Romans 12:10 and 13 'Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love, in honor preferring one another.' The church is trained to prefer and honor the 'pastor' above all others. He is not preferring or honoring the little guy over himself. He has a title. Makes him preferred. If he just got done squeezing the tithe out of grandma, how is that preferring her over himself. He did, however, prefer her money.

Need proof? Someone new walks into your den, do you not say to them 'come meet our 'pastor''. He's preferred and honored above all. A division.

'Distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.' Most cannot afford to do this after dumping their tithes into the plate shoved under their nose.

Talk about quenching the Spirit.
Psalm 133:1 'Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in UNITY. (Shoulder to shoulder) ,' I personally would not know, for spiritual unity is missing in churchianity.

You never will because you couch everything in an antagonistic manner. Everything with you is a dig against the pastors regardless of how God is using them.

Until you trust God to do what pleases Him in the matter of church pastors you will continue to strive or as the OT says kick against the goads.

Ac 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

Hey Persuaded. So you went to your bible study. Did you teach these scriptures to the folks so they could start using their spiritual functions in the open participatory meeting and be fulfilled in their ministries like you get to all these years? I didn't think so. They are being cheated, and your the one holding out on them, eh?

For those who think that Yet never attacks people he has never met or knows what they teach or how they lead in Bible study, notice his response to me when I simply stated I was getting ready to go to bible study.

I made this statement to another on the forum and was not even talking to yet.

We all know that there are churches and pastors and many others that conduct themself contrary to Scripture, but to attack people and local churches that you have never met or attended and know nothing about and encouraging everyone to avoid all local churches is the work of Satan, not the work of God.

We should be encouraging those in bad situations to be prayerfully seeking a new place of service.
