This is just another common false accusation from those that do not know what grace believers are saying. No grace believer says "don't obey God". That is just complete falsehood as usual and its really not worth the bother to deal with them because of their deceitfulness that is often said by those that continue to make these false accusations. It's ungodly behavior and shows their immaturity and malice combined with their usual slander. We need to grow up in the Lord.
You're just trying to dance around the issue. You give lip service to obedience, but you don't believe it's required for salvation. I get accused all the time of being a self-righteous legalist for saying that obedience is required to be saved. And you're the worst accuser.

Some folks come in talking about grace only acusing any who wish to be children of obedience of being legalists. kThe moment good works is brought up they proceed to say this is earning salvation, not true, and they may as well be teaching against obedience because they are telling those who choose to obey out of gratitude that they are trying to earn salvation. I cannot earn what isalready paid for by Christ, but I sure will not be disobedient because some false grace only says I am trying to earn something.

This is calling th eteaching of theWord a lie.
Those who are led by the spirit are well able to know if what they are doing is motivated by a need to justify themselves (which is unbelief) or if they are acting out of a heart of love for GOD and man.

When the Holy Spirit entered into me it was joyous and filled with warmth, love and the knowledge that nothing was ever going to be wrong again. It is certain others have the same experience. One thing that also filled me was righteous indignation because of what masses of of people, much of mankind, in the guise of denominatins, doctrines and Christianity have done to the message of Jesus Christ. They all disagree with one another or they would all be the same denomination, of the faith of Abraham.

I still know this indignation, and when I believe I see the distortion of Christ's gospel to us all, it does get fired up.

As for the spirit of the word, gee, this is why I do not burden my family with a ton of cutting and pasting, rather I share what I have learned by the Holy Spirit. The letter and the spirit, indeed! Read the previous posts of my own and you will see the subject has already been covered well by yours truly......... then come back with comments on who knows the difference.

We love obedience to the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is our Life and Truth! We walk in newness of life depending on the Holy Spirit within us to lead us in this great life and salvation that is in Jesus our Lord!

Romans 1:5 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name's sake,

Romans 16:26 (NASB)
[SUP]26 [/SUP] but now is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, has been made known to all the nations, leading to obedience of faith;
Acts 6:7 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] The word of God kept on spreading; and the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were becoming obedient to the faith.

1 Timothy 6:12 (NASB)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Galatians 2:20-21 (KJV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

[SUP]21 [/SUP] I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Thank you Jesus! We believe and trust in You only for our life and salvation.

Yes, Jesus instructs us to walk in His steps being doers of tth Word and not just hearers, nor to just speak It, but, again, do it.

As regarding the Spirit, many of us have experienced the Holy Spirit speaking to us, yet there are not words. Incredible, but we do understand without words.

Jesus Christ is good all of the time, and His Help is close at hand. It is the great privilege of all who believe to learn from God, thus we hear and do the words Jesus Christ has spoken to us.

I try not to take sides in denominational disputes. I don't want to be called by any denominational name...I just want to be a child of God and let it go at that. I think that our walk should be a one on one walk with God. I think that there are good people in each denomination. The Bible says that if first there be a willing mind it is accepted by what a man hath and not what he hath not and we shall be held accountable by what we know. I feel that anyone who is serving Jesus with their whole heart is a Child of God. I don't think that there is just one denomination that will be justified. In Revelations he wrote to the churches not just to one church. He talked to each one about different issues...I often wondered if this wasn't like the different denominations of today...

Anyhow, have a blessed day and peace to everyone here.

Take The Ten Commandments
Hello all in Christ. Hello all who are earnestly seeking to know about God.

I would like all who read this to take the Ten Commandments and reverse what they say That is to say the Thou shalts convert to thou shalt night and the thou shalt not and convert them to thou shalt.

Now tell me the Ten Commandments are not to be followed in truth. That would be impossible.

We are to do God's will, not just speak it to others..
Hi thanks .my two cents..

First I would say the Bible, called by God; the book of the law is a commandment of God, as a perfect law of God that can and does convert our soul by giving what he calls us simply ones his understanding, so that we can seek after Him who has no form to behold. .

Not a popolar idea but one that I think rings true, Ten represents the whole of whatever is in view, just as the word hundred and a thousand are used in the same way many times. .

Having said that the ten commandments are set aside for a certain purpose which I believe are used as parables that focus on the preaching the gospel in respect to the suffering of Christ beforehand ultimately as the rest we rest in because of the finished work of the lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world..

The porpose.....Exo 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

In the above as an introductory to the gospel beforehand. First and foremost commandment #1 is we are to have no other gods before him and that includes our own selves seeing we are in that sense included as gods seeing, we are sons of God.

(This is not in respect to outward flesh).

The second and third which informs us we are not to have the authority of God in vain by rather having it in respect to another disembodied spirit confirms the first, that we are not to make images of men /women and attach them to what scriptures calls “workers with familiar spirits” (disembodied spirits gods ).

The danger of necromancy is at hand by worshipping another entity as that not seen .One, as our father in heaven is reserved for that faith principle. Worshipping that not seen is reserved for God alone.

The apostate unbelieving Jew(no faith) were known for using idol images in that way .They are the kind (teraphims) Rachel hid that she stole from her father.... again to give the illusion that we can commune with men who have left this realm under the sun, a Pagan tradition of men.

Having protected his own self . The forth commandment as parable or pattern is in respect to the rest (salvation)we have in Christ which comes by mixing faith in what we do hear coming from God.it is shown differently from two different vantage points( Exodus and Deuteronomy) uyou could say as two witness pointing to the same conclusion to help us understand the parable or a pattern of that not seen .

In the first rendering he uses the foundation of the world, the six days he did work before he rested forever more. It is our Sabbath rest. Or salvation in respect to the Lamb of God slain, from that foundation.vantage point .

Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Wherein the Deuteronomy reference that parable uses is brining out of Egypt used to typify this world system, rather than the creation account. This also helps us understand why it is considered a ceremonial law that was necessary but provided no saving grace. as one that is still required and will be up until the last day .Not one we could judge one another by, seeing Christ alone has fulfilled it .

Deu 5:15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the Sabbath day.

Well, if your Bible has a copyright affixed then you should know without a doubt who the author of the work contained therein is.

My heart and soul are especially drawn to the quote of Deut 5:15 It is a reminder that we all wre serv ant of the enmy previous to being brought by Jesus Christ to obey the Father.......really touches the soul. Thanks again.

Cross note, if you consider my responding to your commentary on this concerning my person, and then the continuity of the thread heading this way, and my making another comment on it, I suppose I keep coming back to it.

It is worthy of understanding. Also, you did remind me of personal experiences with the Holy Spirit guiding me that were are more than worthy of sharing, since you got me on that vein.

It is all glory to God. I know I did not hing more than be available.

Would you prefer I just quote and qutoe scripture without understanding? It is teh understanding I try my best to share. God is not dead to me or His other children. He is available in the Holy Spirit, and when fellowship truly occurs all involved feel the Presence of god. When they do not there is contention.

You keep coming back to this point.
Perhaps you are a bit convicted for missing Scriptural support?

Just remember, you're the one who took this away from the Ten Commandments this time. I'm joining you now. I don't feel guilty, because I offer you the other half of my P & J sandwich, while we talk. (Please tell me peanut butter and jam make a good sandwich to share. You can even choose the kind of jam. lol)

Should we have sat back while Hitler did his thing? Should we have sat back while Hito did his thing? Nope!

In like kind there is reason, on both sides of the issue, for why there is more than one denomination. My denomination? We left the main denomination because they were leaving the Bible teaching and God to head to humanism. Should we have stayed united? (We left about the time they started ordaining women pastors. They're still around. Now they're ordaining homosexual pastors.)

And, in like kind, a group split off from us because of the all important (that was, indeed, dripping with sarcasm, if you can't tell lol) question of when God decided to send Jesus to die for us -- before or after creation. Really? Really? THAT's the reason to separate? Who were those two morons who started that argument, because quiet, unassuming ME wants to punch them in the schnooz!

BUT, you are blaming splits as if splits aren't ever a good idea. I get that. Sometimes they're not and sometimes they are, however... backatcha -- haven't you split from all denoms for roughly the same reason those two arguers split? (And granted, it takes more than two arguers to cause a split, so that meant way too many took the moron route.) You split from all denoms because you can't conceive that some of us in denoms could also be following the same God you're following.

God will have himself a people, even if it gets to the point where every single one of us get pulled into eternity with him and our jaws drop to the gold pavement because we're not alone!

God said, he'd have himself a people, not he'd have himself a person.

So, don't be going it's all our fault, when the truth is it takes two (or many many more) to split! You too, young man, are a splitter. (And I can call you a young man, because I see God shaking his head often at all of our stupidity. But, hey, he knew we were like that before he chose us to love.)

Here is a sparkling example which I have posted before. When the Holy Spirit entered into me I understood with the entry the message that everything is going to be jsut fine. It was not in words, but the understanding came as such. As for my not cutting and pasting a lot, recently my increasing blindness took a slight leap, and certain tasks have become difficult if not painful, therefore I rely on the Holy Spirit. Of course I always have since I received dJesus Christ as my salvation. Please, if you need chapter and verse numbers, keep in mind the Apostles and new believers taught each other the Good News without the benefit off what is become the New TEstament, yet they taught the entire known world about it until at least a century. God is the same with His children today as He always has been once they come to His dear feet in praise and worship. God bless you.

In the Psalm, later, I read how God speakes throughtout this world and all hear, there are not words etc.

Speaking without words...new age mysticism.

Again, I would rather share a few words with understanding by the Holy Spirit thatn to bore people ith endless cutting and pasting. The Internet is full of that, sometimes it is good, but of times it becomes very repititious and without direction or meaning.

Since we all seem to suffer from that one, my guess is "patience." (I will always blame it on patience, because I always feel I've got none. lol)
