Wow!!! Now I am reading about Tori Amos at GoodFight.org. Check this out:

Tori Amos has said much to mock both her Creator, Jesus Christ, as well as Christianity. She blasphemes Jesus Christ by stating:

"I've always believed that Jesus Christ really liked Mary Magdalene He had to have sexual relations with her I may have felt guilty at the thought of wanting to do it with Jesus "

Tori declares that she is on a mission against Christianity:

"Yes, I do have a mission", says Tori, "to expose the dark side of Christianity."

The only dark side of Christianity that Tori has been able to expose is the black eye she has tried to give it by adding and twisting God's truth with lies like the one above, about Jesus and Mary Magdalene or perverted blasphemies like the following in reference to some of her music:

"Why don't people want to hear about God getting a (censored by Quest = sexual act)? I thought those born-again Christians would love that."

"I wanted to marry Lucifer I don't consider Lucifer an evil force .I feel his presence with his music. I feel like he comes and sits on my piano"

And they also make outlandish statements to get their faces in the media and to help their record sales!

Run to the Hills!!!!

This has been happening for decades. Keep your children safe and vet what they watch and listen to.

Teach them right from wrong, introduce them to God in a way that lets them make up their own mind and just hope that everything turns out OK in the end.

There really is no need for this ongoing barrage of threads and posts that only tell us what we already know.

It is starting to smell of desperation and a "look at me, look at me" personality disorder.

that website does twist quotes and lies alot i mean the guy talking about vinalla sky got the story wrong and just sounds like he has something personal against him i dont see how that film is anti christian and when he said many christians thought the matrix was a christ like film i started laughing i mean what did they think "o a film about jesus but with guns i guess this is what jesus would do for the win" that website has bent facts does know what its talking about i mean come on v for vendetta is based in an alternate reality its called fiction for a reason these story make enterainment not convert people. next it wil be video games and he will say "children love games and now people are making anti christ games to convert our children" its all the same stuff just like conspricy theorys

The Truman Show is satanic? The Truman Show mocks Jesus Christ personally? The Truman Show encourages rebellion against God?

I'm beginning to think that there isn't a movie that comes out that doesn't contain some evil theme attacking God, personal liberty or Christianity.

One theme I notice regularly on television is that the government invades people's privacy, in the name of "protecting people." This theme is played out again and again. I had the TV on the Space Channel checking what was on and the theme was a woman who was being told to provide skin and urine samples and the like, but they didn't have time to explain why. They just told her she has to do it quickly because her family's life was in jeopardy. Noticing the typical theme, I quickly changed the channel.

The evil Christof - spelt "Christ-of" instead of Christoph - is producer of the Truman Show and is a sick power mad creator trying to keep Truman trapped in a false reality, from seeing the truth. This is the same theme played out in the Lady Gaga video that I presented in the opening of this thread.

Verse 139 of Psalms - where God knows everything about the Psalmist - is also used in this movie, and so is Sirius, which is another name for satan. A lamp falls from the sky - with the inscription "Sirius" - bringing knowledge to Truman that his world was a lie, just as satan also fell from the sky to give mankind knowledge of the truth.

This is a very professional and amazingly in depth explanation of this movie and I recommend all concerned believers to check this out!

You know, I'm a little confused. Why are you belittling the people who are disturbed by her and then justify her actions? I care because shes extremely influencial in America so yes, as a christian I do give her the importance it does have. Its obviously evil and I will tell anyone who asks my opinion. Maybe you dont work in the media or have close proximity with young girls who have pop idols but I do.

So would it make it any better to have a Christian Pop Idol?
I think this have to do in how children are taught, and like music for what it is and not make an artist something they're not.

I am trying to strike a balance, but I do often fear these things greatly, because I know what suffering is going to come upon this earth.

I often remember the pictures of the Jews - standing naked - lined up to enter the gas chamber and die. God is greater than these things, but I still feel great pain for the sufferings of others.

Oh this went well beyond mere mimicking. There were the suggestive gyrations, the whole GaGa act. By a 9 yr old on national TV.!
