I"m just now settling down for the evening, and I"m so tired...On my way home from work 3 hours ago, some lady hit my car while it was stopped at a light...lovely. She screams "i'm sorry, I'm sorry, it was my fault," yet takes a million pics of my car...by the time I got home, I had to make dinner...then I headed out to the store to buy something...I wish I had someone here to rub my feet or my back...I'm tired, achy, and so exhausted...but thank God I"m alive and im more than okay...I just really could use a foot rub..and maybe an ice cream cone with vanilla bean ice cream on top..
Love your post, except for the fact that you got hit. The other stuff reminded me of times I came home from work exhausted..

aww, thanks zeroturbulence. yeah, it's just one of those days. But I praise God I am okay. The woman who hit my car clearly wasn't paying attention. I had already been stopped for some time at the stop light when she hit my car from behind. Who knows what she was actually doing? I was angry that it happened but was thankful that I wasn't injured.

I'm sitting up now, watching Chopped on FoodNetwork...I'm getting pretty sleepy...I still want that icecream, though :).

*guy comes through my line wearing a Yankee jersey*
Me: Oh, the Yankees won a few days ago!
Him: Oh, really?
Me: *pauses* Do you follow them?
Him: *pauses* Yeah.....

Tell me again how much you really like the Yankees.

Yeah, kinda like people who maintain a gym membership but never go there to work out.

"PumpYouUp Gym, may I help you?"
"Yes, I'm calling to cancel my membership."
"Oh dear, is there something wrong?"
"No, I enjoy going to your gym. I just want to cancel my membership for financial reasons."
"I'm sorry but we can't cancel memberships by phone. Too many prank calls, you understand. You'll need to come down and cancel it in person."
"Oh... Hmm..."
"Will that be a problem?"
"Oh, no problem... Say, could you tell me the gym's address?"

I'm going to try to use this thread for its intended purpose: Streams of thoughts.

I wonder: When people type "lol" after half of their sentences, do they feel uncomfortable? Or are they maybe socially awkward? Lol. (Lol.)

I may or may not have a newfound fear of bears after my dream last night.

I either really laugh out loud, but then I type: LOL. lol is fun in Dutch, that I type if something is funny.

I miss those smileys here that cry for laughter. They have them on Facebook.
