How does it cost you money to STOP eating quite a few things? And the amount of water we consume is almost free.

Algae and wheat grass cost more than lettuce does, Willie. Just saying..

I do admit my new diet seems to cost a bit more on grocery day ... but because the healthy foods are so satisfying I no longer feel a need to munch and I rarely have deserts now ... I simply don't crave them like I used to. I no longer buy take-out and that saves me a small fortune as well. And I don't know how, but the fruits and veggies seem to last longer than the processed garbage I used to ingest. I'm saving money in the long run.

Your also eating more nutritionally dense foods now. And they digest more efficiently. So in one sense, it is cheaper.

There is a place in the city that makes raw vegan Raspberry cheesecake. Not really cheese of course. I think it tastes even better then the conventional,
Hmmm, I wonder what it tastes like! I don't eat cheesecake very often for obvious reasons and make it even less often haha. My white chocolate cheesecake is something I might make at Christmas or for someone's birthday. It can be covered with other fruit as well, instead of the sour cream topping, to disguise it's heart stopping powers. The last time I thought I might make one, for a Christmas party last year, I opted instead to buy a lime flan that was amazingly zingy, tart, and tasty, and probably quite a bit more healthy than my cheesecake anyways :) It also had a few raspberries on top, along with being ringed with candied lime peel. So yummy!

I don't know what vegans have against raw milk. It saved my uncle's body and possibly his life.

I find it amazing that once one starts eating really well that desire for such things as cheesecake vanish like mist, naturally .... it seems mysterious to me!

BTW, if anyone here frequents Starbucks, (and several places like that) they have no business saying they can't afford to eat better.
