Where do you get the rage accusation. I certainly have no rage here.
However the lie you spewed that Jesus and muhammed were the same IS outrageous.
And you can hold your breath waiting, I have no need to address your lies.
YOU made a claim, said you would verify it from scripture.
It's not my job to refute your lying garbage, it's up to you to repent
of it and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.
The next step is to proclaim His Truth, but since you insist on
telling lies about Him, and getting ppl to discuss your
false prophet, you obviously aren't interested in the Truth.
And, little boy, telling the truth is not name-calling, okay?
If someone calls you poop-head, that would be name-calling.
But if someone steals, they're a thief. If someone lies, they're a liar.
If someone tells lies about God and scripture revelation, they're a false prophet.
That's not name-calling, that's just telling it like it is, son.
Now tell Jesus, and magenta, you're sorry, and run along.

Magenta derailed the thread with help from B1Davanda. I perceive Bowmans response, here, as attempting NOT to continue to derail the thread.
I agree with your sentiments. However, after some research, I can clearly see that Bowman has conducted himself very well considering the responses of the crowd here. It takes two to bicker--and neither side is guiltless.
^ Isn't that what this is (conjecture & opinion)?
I think, if you went back and read this thread from the beginning--you'd see that Bowman was not being disrespectful to Magenta. On the contrary, I see Magenta as being the provoking and disrespectful person in this instance.

What does the Bible say about vengeance?

So this is Bowman's attitude early in this thread.
And then enter the post and response which started the mess in this thread.
So, Bowman's response presents his THEORY as fact, and then he babbles a bit about Magenta's lack of knowledge concerning the subject--looks like they're picking at each other.

Interesting. It looks to me like sun and stars were mentioned in verses 14-19 (fourth day). Bowman's statement could use some clarification, for sure.
[edit: Bowman later clarified (a bit) by stating: "The original Hebrew does not." So, apparently and according to Bowman, the Hebrew text states that stars and the sun were created on Day 1.]
Here, he's saying a 7 day (24 hour day) creation story is impossible. Since this is not a common viewpoint on the creation story--I'd say it could use some clarification.

So, this is essentially continuing to derail the thread for her personal "vendetta"--more picking and jeering.
I'm ashamed at myself and disappointed in Magenta.
Bowman responded to Magenta's "Why don't you start a thread..." by sharing a link to another thread titled: 'Similarities in Islam & Christianity' -- He refused to take her bait and derail the thread. Good job, Bowman.
Magenta doesn't respond for a while, but the bickering continues with B1Davanda:

This is where I entered the scene--I got on Tintin's case because I thought his post was very rude, inappropriate and, furthermore, I felt Tintin had done this exact same thing (disparaging remarks) to me recently. We've since resolved our matter--but there are other relationships yet to be mended here!
B1Davanda continues the accusations and disparaging remarks.
Magenta reenters and continues the same.
I tried to mediate at this point, but Magenta just attacked me also.
Magenta was the one who derailed the thread and made it into a 'Bowman said Muhammed (the pedophile) was Christ'. Her attitude of 'either agree or disagree' shows her unwillingness to logically and cordially discuss the topic. It appears some deep emotional attachment is the root of her ire--that attachment being: her current perception of who Muhammed is compared to who Jesus Christ is.
I am quite certain my postings during this time were only making Magenta and B1Davanda even more frustrated. For this, I am sorry--my intention was never to add to the problem.
At this point, there are about two pages of me simply trying to explain my actions to deaf ears (Magenta & B1Davanda).
At this point, we are 12 pages into a derailed thread.
On page 14, Dan_473 comes up with the idea to start a new thread, so as not to continue to derail this thread.

B1Davanda continues the disparaging remarks, EVEN AFTER a new thread is created.
