This all sort of begs the question of does a believer now have the right to kill someone who they perceive to be sinning against God? By the definition stated in this thread it would appear that justification could be found.
Only if your trying to avoid the issue and spin what is being said.. the fact is that love is a God that defends His Church from evil ...you folks can spin that how ever you like..the truth don't change because some are to brainwashed by the pc world to see it

Never read it, can't find it with google either. He delivered that guy over to satan so his flesh would be destroyed. He got saved in 2 Corinthians.
Well better look a little harder...I'm eating dinner

So when someone explain clear biblical events and how God Himself recorded His own actions. And judgments...you accuse righteous believes to try and excuse the wicked... you people are shamful
What I think is shameful is the pride you're exhibiting here in that you think God really hit the jackpot with you.

Killing is sin if we do it. That's one of the 10 commandments and the govt had the sword, but Jesus didn't stone the woman caught in adultery. Then He could stone a lot more, since looking with lust was the same.

<br>The truth in the bible isn't the problem. The problem lies with the men who interpret it. And why are you making this about me and making this personal. It isn't the bible I question in this thread. It's men taking liberties in their interpretation of it. &nbsp;&nbsp;
Just stating the facts..in context of the point I was making... The Jesus of the bible is not the pc hippie folks on the forum try to make Him...that's the point...as far as it becoming personal...that's on you and you know I don't back off a issue or point I intend to make

Do you ever make sense? Wow!
It's not that difficult of a concept I am not accountable for your sins just like you are not accountable for mine...... worry about your own salvation..... people are going to do what they want to do so just pray for them and move along

Oh there once was a guy on a Dutch forum who wanted all gays to get the death penalty. You never know what someone means. Nothing amazes me anymore on forums.

Oh yes that's good examples. I also learned He allowed satan to do it.
One text says God killed the first born of Egypt and the other that there was no protection and the destroyer did it, so He let him because there was no protection. It doesn't always mean that He literally did it.

Which two wrongs? (1) The shining light on "christians" winking at sin and (2) "christians" attacking the one who shines the light?
I forgot my sunscreen... "it burns, it burns!"

If crossing the line is seeking more info to try to understand where someone is coming from then I am guilty as charged.

You are a wise wide awake young lady. Dont fall into the complacency of older "christians" you witness on this site. God calls them part of the laodecian crowd.:(
