Good then what does the New Testament epistle say about sexual sins? Is it correct to warn others with what the bible says in evident words?
Did you read the part about me saying adults usually know between right and wrong? Or are you under the assumption that you need to tell them what is right and wrong? Is your own house in order? Are you the only perfect person here?

If someone was blatantly railing against God I might make a mention that they may want to try an attitude adjustment towards God or may even chat with them as to why they feel they should rail against God to find out where they are coming from. But again most adults Christian or not know between right and wrong.

I will continue to try and obey the Love the Lord your God will all my heart and my neighbor as myself as personally I feel there is more traction leading them to Christ that way than telling them what they are doing wrong.... Just My Blond Opinion.

In case you are wondering other than reading the Bible I read many other books too.....wouldn't want you to worry about that...

You are a wise wide awake young lady. Dont fall into the complacency of older "christians" you witness on this site. God calls them part of the laodecian crowd.:(
Yes must be for we do not know when the Lord comes and the Devil is a roaring Lion always trying his best so even when our bodies sleep, our spirits and souls must be ready to jump always

well ....the topic here on this thread is those manner of sins and in my view how they are being promoted in the church even on this forum ..as has also been pointed out, the New Testament epistles does make sexual sins a special class of sins..even a denial of holiness unto the temple of God....my point being ...it seems some have not read the many warnings about defiling the temple of God...

So then where are we sinners to go if we can't go to the house of God? Do you suggest another meeting place for us sinners who have confessed or are trying to get closer to God, but we don't have all the stink off of us yet?

I must be mistaken thinking that church is a hospital for sinners.... you telling me it is a country club for Saints?

Which two wrongs? (1) The shining light on "christians" winking at sin and (2) "christians" attacking the one who shines the light?
I mean no disrespect and my mood is calm and collected. But there is just something about it when a person portrays their views as if they are some revelation of truth that need to be crammed down everyone's throat and in the next sentence play some sort of victim mentality about being attacked when people try to discuss it with them. That just sends red flags up all over the place for me.

If you guys could just learn that tact is an important part of discussing this sort of stuff. Personally, I think a lack of tact indicates a lack of control on ones emotional state and are thus, "tossed by the waves of the sea" and whatnot.

Peace to you.

:) Awesome analogy! Wow! To have that as a perspective--the church being a hospital for sinners. Good stuff.

Promoting sin and bringing people to the truth are two vastly different things. But you may not get that concept since you travel the forums with your self disparaging "blond" by- line.

The reason I post here is because such sin is not condoned. If you want a forum with a gay agenda and promotion of premarital sex, living together, homosexuality and other disgusting stuff go to a Dutch 'christian' one. I'm a bigot there lol and when a guy with gay feelings asked for help I pm'd him, because otherwise you had a discussion about how it was totally normal and he needed to accept it, while he asked himself how he could get rid of it.

We once had a guy who wrotea letter if he could come to our church with his girlfriend, because the marriage was so expensive, so they lived together for a while and that church they now attended was so condemning. Can we come to your one?
Nope.
I'd have said yes, please come and let us help you cut expenses so you can get married.

Uhm Mitspa meant (Mitspa correct me if im wrong) the temple of the holy spirit. Which is our physical bodies. know he said temple of God but I am sure that he meant that. And I believe a church (building is not the actual church but anyeays) is a hospital for the sinners and a place of awe and humbling for the sanctified. God bless

So let me understand you fully. Your pastor will marry a couple who is IN SIN (living together) or a couple who USED TO BE in sin? Would your pastor tell them they need to abstain from living together until the marriage?

It's just an excuse they use here all the time. We had no money and married and paid the chips and cola and cheap rent from the money we got from the guests. If you want to you can. The ceremony is free on fridays. Our churches aren't rich. The pastor can't even get a salary so I'm really not starving my kids to pay someone's party they have to have.

Where can I find an example of "promoting sin" in these forums?

And there is a huge difference between how we deal with folks in the world and when the lies of the world are being promoted in the church and being taught as biblical truth. PAUL. Makes this clear as well in the epistles...that few seem to have read. I have many ungodly people in my life as well and I'm bold in my faith and the truth I have been given.. I have challenged many folks in their sin..when I was led by God to do so. ..it's called being led by the Spirit ..not a PC agenda
Just how many of those challenged folks have changed their ways and go to church with you now? It is not the message that you have it is the method you use that bothers me.

I'd venture a guess that most of us are on the same page about any sin not just of the gay variety as the wages of any sin is death. It is that you come across as feeling it is your duty to police everyone because you are the only one with the truth of the Bible and the rest of us must condone sin because we don't use the method you know is the right way to do it. Beat submission into those sinners....We don't all feel that way...and even you might not work that way but it is the way it sounds. Maybe re-arrange your words to better express what you are really doing..

But I see you with whip in hand demanding things be done your way... Well what about God's way?

The body is not a Temple to the unsaved. They don't have the Holy Spirit UNTIL they accept Jesus. Doesn't it make sense to show them love, tell them how Jesus changed OUR life?Seeing the love of Christ IN US and desiring that. THEN they will be open to hearing and recieving the Gospel. THEN, if they do, the Holy Spirit will reveal the sin in their life they need to abandon.
Telling a dead person they are going to hell for a sin they committ is meaningless and counter-productive. They don't have the Son yet.

Tell them about life! Not death.

They will know we are Christians by our LOVE, not by pointing to Bible verses they can't possibly believe or understand until they become believers.

Once they become Christians, and study God's Word, the Holy Spirit will reveal how they should walk in Christ.
And ALL the glory goes to God.

Thats really a stretch. This thread has turned into a virtual lynch mob. You are way out of line here bro

No he isn't. Some religious psycho nuts actually DO think they have the right to kill someone who they think is sinning against God.. or them.. Happens every single day.

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? My blond by-line is for fun at my own expense does that bother you or are you a blond too? Not sure why you and Mitspa have it out for all of us who don't think exactly as you do, but this Blond thinks the world is more animated with people who don't all think alike....Can you imagine everyone always wearing gray?

My pastor would help them get out of sinning by marrying them... What are you telling me? No, we want you to stay in sin and we won't marry you because you are living in sin? How else will they get out of it unless they get married? I don't recall a big wedding ceremony for Adam and Eve other than they were the only two at the time in the Garden and Adam knew Eve in the Biblical sense and they were husband and wife.....

If someone has consummated are they not considered married in God's eyes? Men developed the marriage certificate....

So thanks for helping to bumfuzzle the Blond.

Yes, pastor would suggest not living together before marriage.
