I think the Koran serves as a bridge for evangelism and it opens doors to talk to Muslims. We had Christians from the Middle East come to our church and help us use the Koran for evangelism.

So if you want to use the hardest point to start with evangelism than the easiest, I think you are going to repel rather than appeal. So if you have the holy spirit, I am unimpressed if you don't have Muslims here testifying that you brought them to Christ and you don't even have a plan.

Hebrews 12 summaries these faith examples as established Truth (of which we already know to be Jesus) - proclaiming The Son as the originator, and perfector of our faith...

Faith is not an attempt to make others thru human reasoning adjust to God, it is the loyalty to the gospel, loyalty to Jesus Himself. The Word which is alive and active and is the way, the truth ,and the life, has no need for human support, and no equal in doctrine.

"For the Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged Sword, it penetrates even to dividing Soul and Spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12).
We certainly can serve Muslims by going alongside them to discover the truth with Muslims to this I agree whole-heartedly. But the loyalty must never be anything but the gospel of Christ. It is from that platform we must proceed in finding truth, inclusion of comparison is but discovery and is needed, but the plan to use the Qur'an to prove God is backwards and can't be done. The Qur'an has nothing in it that is ordained of God; the Words are not alive and active outside of Satan's influence of it. Have we lost the idea of Spiritual Warfare? "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that he exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him." (Hebrews 11:6).

As long as we are talking about the same Jesus I agree, It is by faith in Jesus thru the transformation of our hearts and minds that we get the revelations of truth that we could not know outside of Him, and this is the work of the Holy Spirit, in our supernormal supernatural life-style of co-workmanship with the Son of God, and thru Him God Himself, wherein we can be rendered faithfully whole, guides and protects and calls us to His purposes.. I speak this not in reference so much of text, although Scripture abounds in me, but mostly of a personal testimony of faith. I am whole experientially.

Wow , that is a cold distant call you suggest in you interpretation; It is not faith to "have" him as one owns a puppy, where you are still individually your own Master and you are nurturing God by what you use Him as. Your call on the Triune is not the call of the Qur'an you want us to carouse, God says "this life is IN His Son." Thus we must agree with Him and not simply "have" Him, there is a chain of command. We must receive Him, and pass from death to life, to go from the Old Self to the New Creation, Obliterating the Old Self; to be born-again and not look back; to be Spirit-filled, and get used to the New Way of Life; which means we must, by way of experiential revelation lay ourselves down and surrender the right to ourselves - forever. The gospel is a gift to our poverty not a triumph to our resources. Yet, as I am crucified in Christ where I no longer live, I still do live because, by the grace of God, Christ lives in me to realign man back to a healthy relationship in righteousness once more, and based on the things already accomplished in Christ to purpose me to Gods Glory, to not harm me, but to prosper me and give me Hope, and a hope fully realized. So, I must be "in" Christ not, "have" Christ as my elemental condition to my relationship to God, and the difference is night and day.

We, therefore, are not discerning God He is discerning us from even our attitudes, for He knows the heart of man, but if we remain "in" Him by way of Gods hand, and maintain it in His Word, prayer, and our will laid parallel to His thru, humility, diligence , steadfastness, letting His demeanor become our own all the more vibrant in our own personalities, His road trip on this planet is to Holiness and Sanctification and as He trusts us more and more will call us to serve Him, using His gifts He has given us, living a life-style of Ambassadorship for the sake of reconciling others to Himself. This is a a loving Family relationship empowering our every move, equipping and going supernaturally before us.. This is when we are "in" Christ Jesus. Suddenly, the Qur'an grows strangely dim....in the light of His glory and grace. Jesus took care of sin on the Cross, now God wants us to mature in Him and serve Him, and take control of anything outside of Himself for His namesake, as He calls us to the service at hand, so too will He he reward us. From a child-like faith God will say,"Well done my good and faithful servant."

You are still attempting to blend-in a modern definition of faith with the Biblical definition – which has always had the meaning, even in the OT, as ‘acting upon established Truth’.

This action of ‘having’, (echōn) is in the sense of ‘wearing’ according to the Greek - which you could have very easily surmised had you bothered to look.

Furthermore, The Trinity is expressed in numerous locations in the Arabic of the Koran, should you ever want to go there...
