Do you think I have defended the gay agenda?
This question has popped into my mind as well -- I wonder if he thinks I have too...

I don't recall that..but you seem to object to my expressing certain aspects of God's judgment on the issue.... ?

If anything, everyone on here despises the Homosexual Agenda.
I'm not sure why this thread was made. I get the sarcasm, but I didn't know that a Christian site needed this.

To be honest brother Jason...this is the first time I recall your impute on a thread... it does seem you are willing to challenge basic biblical truths I have expressed on this topic

This was taken from Wiki:

Homosexual agenda (or gay agenda) is a term introduced by sectors of the Christian right (in the United States) as a disparaging way to describe the advocacy of cultural acceptance and normalization of non-heterosexual orientations and relationships.

...it was helpful for me to read and understand--thought might be beneficial to others.

Can you clarify? I'm not trying to be stubborn--just trying to understand what you are saying.

I woke up shaken from a disturbing dream this morning. I dreamt that I could discern people's secret sins and it was so horrible that my spirit was breaking down and I was afraid to even look at people. Every time someone got near me, I saw through them, their sick motives and the things they were trying to hide. I cringed inside because each time they looked at me, they realized I could see their hearts and they either grew angry and aggressive toward me or they became afraid of me and cried in brokenness and shame.

When I woke up, I couldn't shake the ugliness and terror of that dream. But as I was meditating with the Lord about it, the Holy Spirit made me realize that was my own flesh judging others. God was showing me what real hell it is to walk in the flesh and be sin conscious of others and even of myself. Then I was glad because I was thankful God showed me how NOT to walk in this world. To instead look at people with the hope of Christ and treat them the way I want to be treated, with mercy and love and forgiveness and as a precious thing in God's sight.

It's not necessary to keep condemning and judging folks in the flesh. Because when we do, we are walking like the world, judging falsely, walking in our own understanding.

So long as we are focused on sin, we are not available for God to work in us. We are walking in the flesh. When our eyes are upon Christ alone, He will accomplish His work through us. This is something only understood in the spirit. Our carnal (logical) minds will not accept that because our carnal minds are God's enemy. A vessel must be empty of self for God to use it for His glory.

People need to know it is a sin to fornicate and to commit adultery, so, hopefully they will quit fornicating and committing adultery.

I have often wished that there had been one guy like Mitspa, who would have threatened me with hell when I after a suicide attempt was dumped in a Godless mental hospital and my ex, a pastor, said he wanted to seperate for he didn't know how long and in his anger said it was okay if I looked for someone else, I could take 10, I looked around and asked the only one who was single if he wanted to marry me and he said yes after 2 days, then in my despair I called a pastor, everyone there said it was okay, he had been chatting, that's adultery, go pick someone else. All the idiot could say when I asked him if he could marry us was: Don't jump on him immediately. I went to his church, he preached about it and I yelled from the back that you could divorce with adultery and he said God speaks through that woman. Really. Absolutely noone warned me, noone from church who visited. If there had been one guy like Mitspa I would now still be married, because 7 weeks later he asked me if I wanted to come back and it was too late. We married ourselves with a joint in the mental hospital, just plucked the text from internet, a heroin addict was our witness and Leviticus says it's a sin to go back to your former husband, so I said no. Couldn't explain the rest, he'd think I was nuts, which I was.
There's one woman here who asks for prayer all the time. Her 'fiancee' is very ill. Said she should stop living in sin, more said it, but in a friendly, nice way which doesn't work.
Mitspa, you're right. I like your style.

So God told you not to read or express the New Testament standards and doctrine ... I don't think that's God

We have to focus on avoiding sin.

James 5:16
Confess therefore your sins one to another: and pray one for another, that you may be saved. For the continual prayer of a just man availeth much.

You know how it is when you get older...and I have made a bunch of post...why not just post the quote and let's see what point you have...Bill
In Posts 323, 326, and 333 you claimed He drove the money changers out. No, He did not. He told them off and may have scared them into running out. But the whip was for the animals, and you seem to have seized on the words "drove all from the temple" as justification for you thinking He whipped human beings.

Well..I'm sorry if your offended ..but sarcasm is often found in scripture .." should we sin that grace would abound "... try to look past your own personal desires and see the intention behind raising the issue as I did.

Well if it's not a issue..why folks getting so worked up about a thread about holiness? ... why folks so bent out of shape about telling folks homosexual behavior is unacceptable in the church.
I am at a quandry about that myself:confused:
