actually both lord and spirit are genitive so literally it's 'of Lord of spirit.
Corinthians 3:18 - 18 But we all, looking on the glory of the Lord, with unveiled face, are transformed , translated ‘transfigured’ in Matthew 17:2 and Mark 9:2. according to the same image from glory to glory, even as by [the] Lord [the] Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18 - ημεις δε παντες ανακεκαλυμμενω προσωπω την δοξαν κυριου κατοπτριζομενοι την αυτην εικονα μεταμορφουμεθα απο δοξης εις δοξαν καθαπες απο κυριου πνευματος .
apo mean off so it literally reads 'off of Lord of spirit.'I think i'm getting the real meaning now. with unveiled faces (faces with self left out of it) we reflect the glory of the Lord off of Lord of spirit. angels are spirits of the Lord, so they would be included in this equation.
