I wanted to say that we shouldn't look at others and think their married life is perfect, because it's not. Perfection doesn't exist and I think a lot of us here think that just because a couple is married it means they're happy or fulfilled. Those are lies of the enemy. Only Christ can fulfill us.

What got me thinking about this was a girl I once knew in school. She got married in her early 20s and told me that "if you haven't found someone by 25, don't bother looking anymore." The thing is that her husband cheated on her. I know because she posted this nonsense on facebook. She has forgiven him and is going to stay in the marriage.

So I started thinking to myself "hhmmm...wouldn't it be better to be single and alone even if it was forever, than to be with someone who was going to cheat on me and cause me harm?" I think yes!

I know not all guys or girls are cheaters, but you have to think of it this way. There is a reason you are single right now. Maybe there isn't anyone good enough for you out there and God is choosing to keep you away from harm. We all know true Christians (by this I mean they believe in Jesus as their Savior and are willing to carry their cross) are few and far between.

There are good marriages, but real good Godly marriages are rare nowadays. On another forum you had a singles and married part. They were jealous of us singles and when I read all that I thought: am I glad I'm single.
I then dated a guy for a short time and wanted to marry him, but was so smart to break it off. A girl there at the same time married after they first broke up and went from posting in singles to married.
Then a year later she'd post all the problems. Oh my goodness. I really felt for her. She was always so fun when she posted in singles and now: hubby only wants to do what he wants. He never went out with her. He just sat behind his computer and he had a job and studied. The advice she got was to not complain. She cleaned everything, cooked always. I wasn't jealous. A marriage like Derek Prince had, yes, total unity, both fixed on the harvest, not themselves. I'd sign for that, but the rest: no thanks.

So, this morning as it was raining, I asked the kids, as they were coming into the cafeteria, if it was a good chance or a bad chance we would have rain. Most said good, but this one little baby said bad.

I feel young again, like an 8 year old, thinking every time I see flowers: yumm these are delicious for my bunnies! Try to not pluck them out of people's gardens.

coby2: I saw the pic in the be content thread but I wanted to ask you here so I wouldn't derail that thread. Do those bunnies not leave little pellets on your couch?

I ask because my sister once had a rabbit and she let it run all over the house and it left little black turds everywhere.

Yes after 15 minutes the couch is full of them and they're everywhere on the ground. They peed on my couch twice, but mostly they do that in the corner of my room. Ah but they're so cute. Who cares if I have to clean up 10 times a day now? I always wanted to work in a kids farm. Now my own house is a kid's farm. I should put a goat on the balcony.

They have to stay inside for 2 weeks. My brother was already looking for a nice big cage to put on the balcony.

"umm.. i'm thinking you're in the wrong facility."

Does this happen often?
