You're welcome. Been in the high 90's here during the day, 70's at night.
Cold front coming through right now, snow in the mountains today, tonight,
High 30's. So ready for summer to stick around.

that's too hot for me unless there's a lake around LOL!

we have the weather they could use out west in Alberta...seen that fire on the news? you can hardly believe what you are looking at...

I know..it's "wild" isn't it?...that city has been hit hard with the low price of oil and now this fire..

Wait till you get to Fl. Yes, that's really sad, a lot of homes gone, the whole city had to flee.
Praying for all of the people, that's all we can do.

it's heartbreaking...I could hardly believe what I was seeing

I think about perspective...I mean life just got too precious for them and what is really important became more real

(sorry...not trying to preach)

yeah well...I used to say if you want to loose weight, just go out around noon and stand there in the sun...you'll melt

I used to get actually physically nauseous from the heat...does not bother my husband like that...we were training a couple of horses...well a young lady who backed and breezed TB's and I was helping...had to start real early and the horses got a bath every day...that's how they do it down there...I think of it like the reverse of up here...I just hang out by the AC LOL!...but I love those FL evenings .. horses for the most part actually do pretty good in the heat

Alberta....praying also...I can't begin to imagine...the vids coming out of there are Apocalyptic

yes..the whole city and now evacuees are also having to move again as it shifted south

I agree with you, although "interesting" is not the word I would use. Countless threads have been created on CC and other forums designed to rebuke rebellious modern women and admonish them to submit to (OBEY) their husbands.

Some people express a lot of vitriol for rebellious modern women, but where is their vitriol for the many rebellious husbands in our modern society who fail to love their wives like Christ loved the church, honor, dwell with them in an understanding way, be a role model for them and serve them? It is noticeably absent.

It's very reminiscent of the woman caught in adultery. The religious leaders had no problem accusing the adulterous woman, and letting the adulterous man go unpunished. Likewise, many of the folks who endorse the "men have a God-given right to rule, master, dominate, punish women belief system" are extremely eager to let the sin and disobedience committed by countless men go without mention, notice or accountability, and that's hypocrisy.
