If there is wickedness in the home, or trouble, or problems. God holds the MAN responsible, NOT the wife. It is written the man is the head of the woman. so if the house is corrupted, the man will have to answer to God because of it, not the woman. So you may have a 50/50 marriage and talk things over in all your decision making, and you never disagree about anything at all, but it will be the man that will answer to God concerning the things that are going on in the home.

My ex always wanted chicken, so I bought him chickens every week and he put them in the oven almost every day. You can add chicken to anything. Eeewww. If one kid wants macaroni and the other one noodles and they really don't want the same thing and the other wants a pizza they just eat 3 different things.
If you both want to obey God there is no problem. We lived in one city and had a church there and started another one in another city and had to drive all the time. Then God said to me: this is not moving, because one prophet had said: I see a moving, so I just said that to him. This isn't moving. Yeah God spoke through me, he said and we moved. He always listened to me when God said something.

I just meant to say not that it in general ended but that that curse or whatever can be broken if you believe it, so why not that you have a christian marriage without selfish people. If a man really loves his wife obeying is easy and not a punishment at all and what is there to obey if both want what's best for the other and both want to do what God wants? But then both have to be like Derek Prince and his wife who had total unity and never any fights. Having to obey and all that stuff is just when 1 is selfish or 2 are selfish.

Just curious .I am not an authority in anything. But from my perspective it would seem you are defending Catholicism with the use of Peter and the apostles.

Scripture is of no authority to them, there is no twisting the word of God just making it to no effect .This is unless as a Catholic first seek the approval of the fathers giving them the authority to believe God, after men as the things of men. This would include the seemly resistance in respect to the question posed by Susanne and the security of salvation. Are you born again as one who has passed from death to eternal life? Or just missed the question?

The word helpmeet must be defined according as to how it was designed to work when in regard to making two as if they are one. Like that of Christ, our husband and us, His church, the bride. The literal, I believe follows the spiritually understanding as we do walk by the faith of Christ that does work in us who do believe God..

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2Co 4:3

It would seem that the devil has turned that meaning upside down to take away the faith (the unseen, spiritual) therefore hiding the gospel in respect to the suffering of Christ beforehand that was preached from the beginning to include the verses below..

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Gen 3:15-16

The woman, representing His bride the church and seed singular used to represent the spiritual seed of Christ by which men are born again by and through.

Where seeds plural is used to represent what we do see the temporal, the nations of the world.. typified as Abraham, the father of many nations used as a metaphor in respect to our Father in heaven.

Where unto the woman, she represents the bride...... made up of male and female as with Paul declared as a surrogate mother, and even called Timothy as chaste virgin as another identifier of the whole church, as one who did not formicate with false gods.

Galatians 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

2Corinthians 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

The portion of the verse found in Genesis 3.... “and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee”. Is in respect to the bride of Christ, the whole church and Christ our husband in a spiritual way, that both males and females must get under equally...

In that way we understand that we do not need any man to teach us .it does not mean that we cannot teach but helps us to understand the warning in 1 John 2:27-28 as to the methodology of the antichrist that demands a man teach ignoring the promise that the holy Spirit that lives in us will teach guide and comfort us .Scripture is God’s interpretation to us, as it teaches us we must abide in him and not each other, who can help others comes to the same confidence we do have in Christ, when we do.

The same would apply to below the church does not have authority over the seed of Christ we abide in it.Men and woman together are to be silent in that way when it comes to final authority in matters of faith.

1Ti 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

In a literal way woman are saved from not being able to have a higher position of submission of the two. This is in childbirth with her own sons. One of the reasons I believe the Jewish woman according to the scriptures seemed to hope for male off spring, as a gracious thing of God that could loving rule over their sons. In that we need woman to teach us men.

When my step son was growing up there were times when he would ask me to help make her stop trying to correct him. I would suggest you got her started and if you don’t learn how to listen with women ,when you grow up you will get an extension of your Mom. Same goes with the girls listening to their fathers.

The woman have the harder of the two as visual presentation of the bride of Christ . The men that represent Christ unseen need to help them as a help meet . This is seeing it is our love that they have to make their yoke lighter, as Christ is formed in His bride, the church.. We both need the prayer of the other in a hope God will work it for the good.

For Adam was first formed, then Eve.And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. 1Ti 2:13-15

Why did God use Adam's rib to create Eve?

I suggest again we understand that seen, the temporal through the spiritual unseen the eternal. The verse you offered which is historical true can be applied as a parable, to preach the good news as to the suffering of Christ beforehand and the glory that did follow ..

Genesis 2:21 Deep sleep on Adam bringing forth his bride.

In Adam all flesh dies and those who have been born again through the incorruptible word of God as those shown asleep and the Lord raising up on the last day, a new incorruptible creation as his eternal bride. With those words found in the scriptures we are to comfort one another

I owe this no response, the scripture is pretty descriptive, and I don't add to or take away from. If your going to say it " means " something else, please use scripture and not your opinion, thanks.

This kind of scripture is written through the Bible. Why deny this? Then assume I'm this or that? It's ok garee. If you believe God wants you to store up riches and be focused on the flesh, it's up to you and Susanna to do so.. It's just not what scripture says.

The whole jest or the focus of the scriptures is in regard to Christ and his bride the church.

I do not think I add or subtract from the spiritual meaning. I am using the scriptures . The bride of Christ does represent the church made up of many lively stones that does make up the spiritual house. .She is represented in Genesis through out the scriptures as well as in Revelation 12. Without parables Christ the anointing Holy Spirit of God speaks not to us in who he gives us the spiritual understanding .

Are you a Catholic with a hope the the flesh is the real presence of Christ and therefore reject the spiritual understandings of the literal events??

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

No, I'm not catholic ... Are you confused? Are you saying laying up for yourself treasure in heaven and not on earth, because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.... Is a parable ? Please explain what your talking about.

Sorry if I have offended you. I am offering you my understanding called a private interpretation . There is no law that says you must trust it. But again without parable/proverbs Christ spoke not to the multitude in respect to those who hear the word of God. Mixing what was said by faith is how we can hear God.He did that purposely to hide the spiritual meanings. It began in the Old testament.

To add you have not given a testimony to the questioned asked by Susanne. Have you passed from death to spiritual life?

Yes, in respect to not letting our hearts be troubled, that is a parable that helps explain the outcome of walking by faith. The precept for all parables if we are to rightly divide is according to below. The temporal flesh of Christ, as that seen, profits for nothing.

2Co 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Looks to me your switching subjects .. We don't need to talk about interpretation because BOTH are truth... Now instead of dodging scripture,why not confront it. IM SICK OF YOU PEOPLE QUESTIONING OTHERS SALVATION, how are the mods just letting this go? You try to offend, your only offending yourself.
