Thats right "we" are already saved, because Jesus has saved us.
okay he saved peter also, what did peter do after that? if you guys want to serve in gratitude that's wonderful, that's my position also. I embrace the fear that comes with the holy spirit also, but maybe that's Just me. but the point is, if a person has been saved from eternal hell because their KING sacrificed His Life, if their King was mocked insulted, beaten, flogged mercilessly, treated like a dog, beaten so badly "hois form was almost not recognizable as a man" oif He endured the horrors and suffering of the cross on our behalf.....shouldn't we live and breath and believe His every word? when that's What He said to do Just before He was arrested 3 times? and also just before He was taken to heaven after the resurrection? if he says obey my commands.......what is the problem that you all have with admitting full submission and servitude to a king such as that???????? He didn't have to do that for us, we don't have to serve Jesus or obey Him.....But really what is the plausible argument against Giving all our hearts to His service???? honestly asking how obeying what Jesus himself said, you must do these things........if you do them....????

what valid argument is there to deny His authority, HIS COMPLETE authority in a chritians life? do you think that will please God to look at all Jesus suffered as a free gift that doens REQUIRE my whole self? I'm sorry, but it Just does and anything that says different is not the gospel. my proof is Jesus words, in your bible, see what your Lord says

you love Jesus???? tell me one of the many descriptions He says is Love to Him ? if you don't Know check john 14-15, and any of the op scriptures. you Love Jesus, love Him like HE makes plain. His words, the one you just praised as Lord and savior...id ask in His words " why do you call me lord lord and do not do what I say?.....

Listen you guys can cling to the doctrine of Grace, I will spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, whoever Belongs to Him will hear His words and see the truth of what He says, and what God the Father says of Him. what do you all make of Grace and truth coming through Jesus? what is it to walk in the truth ? again check the books of 123 john and answer that one. Grace and truth is what Chjrist brought, Grace is not God, Grace and truth were offered By God in the form of Jesus Christ the Lamb......But also the King od Kings and Lord of Lords. in what Kingdom is a subject free of the Kings commands? you guys never ever even dealt with the op scriptures or the many others, your purpose is to preach a Jesus less gospel....definitely Not Christian doctrine. My true message once again is this : Go to your own Bibles, pray each time for understanding and truth, study the Lord Jesus in matthew, mark, Luke and John, but don't go into it believing its not Gods word lol. or that His words don't apply to CHRISTIANS. do that with an open Heart in prayer for say, 1 month, a chapter or 2 everyday.....after that, tell me how Jesus taught a gospel other than what He taught. and youll all save my soul.......the only catch is, I will never accept anything that disregards Jesus teachings...........this is like the 8th challenge btw :) Jesus should be where yall want to Go, all I'm sayin is God to Jesus words n learn if what you think is in accordance with His words. I do not feel the least bit sorry, but fully approved because My backup is so infallible. Jesus words, look into them and find the truth
Your going to need to dodge some stones for talking like this... God bless you Jason, just keep on your Armor of God.

Jesus said to judge correctly, but to be careful not to be guilty of the same sin when judging.

What do you see? This man is working hard to bring the truth without sugarcoating it or using it to further a hidden agenda. Like Jesus.

Why be offended with him? He's just like everyone else, spending time on the internet doing what he feels passionate about.

The gog only sees Grace as a gift we receive and then were in forever. it releases all responsibility for us to do anything. it simply denies the truth of Jesus Christ. I find it interesting that its Known worldwide as the "gospel of Grace" really Jesus Christ is the Gospel. If Jesus said something it is eternal, the gog will every time oppose Jesus in favor of Paul, thinking we do nothing but say I believe. Jesus is the truth, His words are those of God Himself He sais " I say only what The Father Gives me to say." there are so many deceptive ways people will avoid the truth of Jesus Christ. the only teacher a Christian Has.

The only Lord a Christian Has. Paul himself gave an example of the fight and struggle, the race, he said how he beat His body into submission, he endured all the hardships imprisonements ect. but a person reads Paul, and takes it like hes saying say He Lord and ur in forever no matter what you do. That's the gogs issue. to believe it, is to deny the truth of Jesus. who the scriptuire says came with Grace and truth. Grace forgives us through the atonement makes us new, the truth is Jesus Christ and all of His words. they are eternal. any doctrine that somehow figures out why Jesus words do not apply, or are Less than anyone elses is not a doctrine of Gods spirit in Us, who is the spirit of Christ, who Himself said " My words are spirit, and they are Life." the gog keeps people away from Jesus words because it totally disagrees with their beliefs. that we do nothing, we aren't REQUIRED to obey. they Hear required to obey and link it to Law obedience making it a work for salvation idea....its all just avoiding Jesus.

Jesus, His words, His spirit, His truth is what Makes us free. " if you are really my dicsiples you will hold to my teaching and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free" Jesus doesn't teach the gog, the gog is meant to make us understand the atonements power in us, and it directs us to the truth, The entire Bible only labels one person as the truth, the way, the Life, the Lord.....Jesus. you know this and many others also I'm positive.

I'm not upset I was for a moment, it offends me greatly when Jesus words are ignored in favor of any others, that's about the only thing that does upset my spirit. I wasn't sure about the gog, but I am now, as it is taught in the world today selling the millions of books, is a terrible harm to the church, hardening Hearts against the Lords Word of Truth and Life. The only gospel that exists is Jesus, anything other than Jesus is not the truth. all other scripture points ahead to His coming, or back to His appearing. even ot was pointing to Him, nt does also. the centerpiece Of Gods Kingdom is Jesus Christ and all of Him, not only the Lamb of sacrifice, but the Lord and teacher of every Christian who accepts Gods Kingdom. God bless you also peter, thank you for the insight
It's so good to see anyone standing up for our Creator, and witnessing for truth. This post is one of my personal favorites, how you share your feelings about how it feels to read some so shamelessly torturing the Words of our King, Jesus/Yeshua. Maybe they know deep down that any follower of Messiah has got to change from their worldly ways, maybe they don't. At any rate, it's not an atmosphere conducive for study when one has to constantly defend himself from personal attacks, for merely quoting even, His Words!

Furthermore, Paul says follow his example, as he follows Messiah's example...and so many other verses are so clear on that. Today's Christianity, mostly, think they imagine what Jesus would do when Jesus plainly said what was written/did what was written...you can't just make it up people...but that's what is popularly done. So count me among the Pharisee, whatever. I've been called worse.

Ironic how truth has been turned upside down. In Jesus' day, he called those who make up their own laws, "hypocrites", and they were the Pharisee and Sadducee (religious). Nowadays anyone obeying Jesus is called everything but what it is...obedient. But then, did we expect to be popular or well liked by men, we who follow Jesus?

oh no, I am absolutely nothing, But the one I follow IS EVERYTHING. God bless you and may He bless you in every spiritual thing that is yours in Christ Jesus the Lord. anyone who will study Jesus gospel will be transformed as we accept the truth. God is soooooo good to provide for our imperfections and give us the opportunity to fellowship with the King of Kings, to serve the Lord is the thing that will fill a heart 100 times over far richer and better than anything found in all of Creation, He did give us eternal Life !!!!!!!!!! thank you for the encouraging word, God bless you

Jason .. you are projecting "what you think" others are or aren't doing in their daily Christian walk. But in reality, you really have no way of knowing. Do I try my best to be obedient to our Lord Jason ? Do the others on this thread strive to be pleasing in His sight ? Are you honestly inclined to believe that those of us who give Jesus Christ all the credit for any good that we might do (by God's grace) are simultaneously availing ourselves to the sinful pleasures of this world without regard for our Lord ? You are judging by what you think ... and not by what you know, because in truth, you have no clue as to how any of us are living in this life. Nor do you know another's struggle or burden they might bear, and quite possibly, far heavier than your own. I know of no follower of Jesus that takes delight in their sin. Zero. You have admitted that you sometimes sin. Explain to me the difference between you going to God for forgiveness for your disobedience and one of us on this thread doing the same ? Is it a matter of doctrine that makes the difference ? Those who preach obedience (but aren't always obedient by their own admittance) are forgiven but those who preach God's free gift of salvation in Christ (by grace) somehow miss the mark ? Is that how it works Jason ? You stubbornly refuse to hear what others have said throughout this thread. Seems to me you've been here before. I wish you all God has to give you in Christ.

You aren't offending me by what you're sharing. If there is any offense, it is your lack of hearing. Not one person has said to be disobedient to Christ. That lack of integrity in presenting others as against obedience to Christ is where you are in error. People are applauding your boldness, but what good is it to roar like a lion yet speak deception? A little honesty would be appreciated.

I can relate. Been pressed on all sides for most of my life.

Falling up staircases when a person gets pushed down them is no picnic BUT. The treasures we find when we just concentrate on staying rooted in and being obedient to the word are beyond compare, like a priceless treasure in a small plot of land a man sells all he has to obtain! ^^

ben, your gospel denys the words of Jesus Christ. we aren't saved forever because we think we are. I know already the things you guys are saying, It is an OBLIGATION a requirement. noi words in the bible are over His. that's Just Gods word on it. you guys are all saying ur saved regardless of what you do, that is what many have said. that's actually the gog. ur saved end of story. a sinners prayer and ur in. take my offer ben? you give me a few books to study, and you study the book of matthew and John for 1 month ill be back then, and then well discuss the gospel. you don't have to believe anything I say, I'm saying believe Jesus words in your bible. because that is the gospel. then tell me if obeying Jesus is an afterthough, or the most important thing a Christian does. that's the difference and tho some cant see the difference, there is a gigantic difference. I will ever glorify Jesus name, I'm nothing, I'm saying the gospel is in His gospel, and the gog is opposed to Jesus gospel. the words that aren't to be changed or ignored to fit a doctrine are His words. take the friendly bargain? you can send me anywhere in scripture ill study it over the next mointh daily, but you do the same witrh matthew and john. pray that ull understand and ill understand. of course, theres no hard feelings so, we should maybe try that and Let the Lords word bring us closer????? this is the 2nd offer to you personally. theres a difference in what were saying, if you do what ive asked you will see the huge difference

Ben... who is guilty of a "lack of hearing"? He is telling all here to go only by the words of Jesus. He is firm in his belief, as are many of us.

I'm confident he has "heard" what has been put forward, and has stated that he does not believe it.... he simply believes the Word.

It's not a lack of "hearing" on his part.
