So then what is the "CRUSH" really?

My definition of a “crush” might be different from other people’s definition. I see a crush as an innocent emotional attachment to someone of the opposite sex. There is no lust. I define an “infatuation” in the same way.

No really... My interest is in the response and the heart of people. I think it is good to review what it is that inspires us and what it is we admire. The whole "crush" thing is often associated with romance... I really appreciate that your response. Looking beyond a label and responding humbly to any, even elementary appearing question, demonstrates a good character.

Ok to be totally honest I had a little crush on someone I worked with for a short time where I was completing some internship hours last month. To me she was beautiful, sweet, loveable and she liked to kid around and I could just stare into those beautiful eyes of hers all day long. Just thinking about her makes my heart smile. I know that it never would have worked out but I am grateful that I got a chance to work with her.

Your description reminds me of a co-worker I had last year. She was always in a positive mood, always friendly, didn't gossip on others, etc.. She also happened to be one of the most beautiful women I have seen, an innocent beauty, not a super model beauty.

She's not a Christian though.

Quest

I always thought a crush was something being squeezed too hard...

Now all we need to know is what you mean with 'smart' :D

Bilingual. LOL, jk

I've always been a sucker for a guy who uses his brain. When I say smart I also mean funny. My standards aren't as linear as they seem, ha ha!

The last guy I had a crush on is my best friend. It's been quite a while since I met anyone that really captured my attention like that.

- English
- Basic German
- Very basic Italian

So I must be supersmart according to your definition :p

And my little sister says I'm funny :D:D

Not at all.;)
But i feel that our Belgian friend could need some lessons if the "courtship" goes any further.;):D

Yessir, thats an excellent idea! :D:D

Drat, he got my plans... how did you know that was my intention? :D

Maybe you can learn me Australian!? Thats 2 in 1: an extra language + being funny :p

Unless you want to learn an aboriginal dialect, you already know Australian.

You being a pilot...surely a quick flight to Copenhagen for a coffee or three could be in order.;)

There is a very famous Australian song..

"Love is in the Air"..

Just do it man!!!

Nonononoo, I cannot speak Australian. Your accent is waaay to funny :p

Copenhagen? I'll need a hint. Why a cup of coffee in Denmark?

And yes, why do you think I became a pilot? To impress the ladies, thats obvious :D

When I was young and wild, I am 35 not 45...slip of the finger when joining....I used to impress the girls by saying that I was a helicopter pilot.

Always worked.....Always!!

*****slips back into depression reminiscing about the good old days****

That's cheating... How did they react when they found out you weren't? Or are you?
