Fillipo Vadi's "Liber de Arte Gladitoria Dimicandi" (from around 1485)
and Dan Stone's "The Rest of the Gospel"
both are good and very interesting, in their own ways - and both are very different from each other, though both actually give honor and praise to God.
Stone's book is primarily about our position in Christ as being redeemed - things that are normally glossed over or not taught in many churches. it's obviously a Christian book..
not as obvious is the other -- but Vadi's 15th century treatise on longsword fighting begins with praising God, and specifically says that this 'science' (as he calls it) should not be taught to everyone, especially angry people, but to nobility, and to 'whoever defends the poor and the widow' - because this is the work of God on earth
well i was just reading a comment that said you are reading the comment of me reading a comment of someone who realised hes reading comments...does that make sense?? lol

Finished reading "The Gift of Forgiveness" by Charles Stanley, now currently reading another one of his "Everyday in His Presence" and still not done with "Imagine Big" by Terri Savelle Foy
You're typing an entire book?! The last time I did that was for a cult my late uncle was working for, they had me transcribe their version of the bible (which was so twisted and, back then, I was a half cooked Christian lol).
I finished Imagine Big today, sigh, I spent all day yesterday and today, but no regrets! Now, gonna start reading "Intentional Living" by John Maxwell and lol yeah this one called "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill

I have the book on Amazon. I buy books, and "convert" them to word documents for easier reading and to be able to post portions at times as I find their points applicable. But this particular book has a glitch, and won't convert. So, I copied all of it, single page by single page (422 pages). And I am in the process of "proofing" it. (Kindle won't "copy" more than one page at a time.... )
The author is a friend of mine, and I had previously proofed a hard copy for him, since he intends to republish a corrected and shortened version of the book... But he is dragging his feet, and I also don't really want a shortened edition.
It's something I enjoy doing, but I still have to reread every word because none of my proofing is on the electronic copy.
Right now other than the bible I just started a Choose your own adventure book. Its Give Yourself Goosebumps, Revenge of the Body Squeezers. Special Edition 6...I read Goosebumps and any book similar. Just a reading preference. Other then that I read Christain books of course including but not limited to the Bible.
