Morning all!

Well I had an "interesting morning". After my early morning shower, I thought I'd vacuum the downstairs and wash-up all the laminate flooring...using the sqeezy mop. I finished the kitchen, downstairs loo and hallway...decided to clean the loo and half-filled a bucket with water/bleach solution...preceded to turn around and must have found a damp patch on the floor - went flying, water/bleach solution everywhere and I was swimming in it - black clothes too! Praying it doesn't take the colour out of my dining room carpet. I had to sponge the carpet, strip all my clothes off, get them in the washing machine, rinse myself off, get dressed again.

I hope my back will be OK tomorrow...Wish I'd gone to work!!!

I've not heard of that...but thanks for the tip. You'd have died laughing if you had seen it LOL! Luckily I have lost some weight or the fall might have been more damaging!

argh...I felt for you cause I have gone flying in the kitchen more than once by slipping on something...really hurt myself one time...slipped and next thing I knew I was admiring the ceiling...hurt for 2 weeks

the rubbing alcohol really helps though! :)

One of the many reasons Blond doesn't clean....I hope you are o.k. and nothing hurting too badly. That carpet & clothes have no changing color.... Bad wet floor making you trip like that..... Hugs...

I am a vegan. Have been a strict one for 23 years, never wavering. I was not concerned about animals or the planet when I first started. But quickly, I began to change my views.
So I certainly feel anguish about what we have done to this planet of ours. Large, but small. All interconnected. The small algae in the oceans are a key, that's right, a key factor in our earths ecological system.
Saying all that, when God threw us out of the garden, and who can argue with His righteousness, He knew we would strive to create our own comfort. And he knew the secrets of that lay in our plants, and animals, and earth itself. He knew man's ignorance and selfishness would cause a pillage of planetary proportions.
I guess that is one reason why Jesus is coming before there is nothing remaining to destroy.
The sad history of man. Oh thank God for our savior.
Wow, that must take a lot of discipline, to be so... fastidious about not eating any meat or animal by-products. I could live without milk or ice cream but no cheese? No butter or honey? That's harsh! :D But admirable. I stopped eating most meat (except for fish) for about four years many many years ago, as a conscientious objector to the animal industry and the mis/maltreatment of our food stocks. Plus I had gotten to a point where the smell of the steak on the barbie? Wow you know that is such an attractive smell to most people but it had gotten to a point for me where all I could smell was the blood cooking and it turned my stomach. I just knew it was time to stop eating meat altogether for a while. For many years after that I could not eat beef without it causing me extreme discomfort, but I found in the last few years that if I ate a mixture of meats with beef mixed in (like a meatloaf with lamb, pork, and beef mixed, as opposed to being jus beef) then my system could handle it no problem. Sorry to talk about meat so much :( I hope you don't mind. It does still disgust me how many treat their animals, and I buy organic free range etc as much as possible, hoping that helps.

I just learned some very good news and simply want to thank God
for bringing an end via justice to this untenable, ongoing situation.

Thank You, God!
