Like I said, it was no where on the scale that happened in the U.S Whereas you guys literally came close to wiping out their entire race! (;
So a little killing isn't as bad as a lot of killing? Both of our ancestors had blood on their hands.

I think I might have nudged the truth along. As I said, Indians were totally wiped out in the province of Newfoundland.

You have, and you can also be proud that there are not that many natives in America anymore. Good riddance! Glad it's mostly white 'christian' now. That's the True America! Praise the Lord! :D

Yes, because they are still around in Canada. Whereas you guys almost wiped out their entire race! You don't see any difference ?

. . . So, I just thought of giving him the jist of so called "Christianity" in America and how it transpired. Born-again Christians holding the Bible on one hand, and whipping the black slave with another hand. Sounds Christ-like to you ? . . .
It is obvious, that you don not know the definition of "Born Again". NOR do you know what the Scriptures say about slave owners:

Ephesians 6:5-6 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ;
[SUP]6 [/SUP] not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.

Ephesians 6:7-9 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] With good will render service, as to the Lord, and not to men,
[SUP]8 [/SUP] knowing that whatever good thing each one does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether slave or free.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] And masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

Exodus 21:26-27 (NASB)

[SUP]26 [/SUP] "If a man strikes the eye of his male or female slave, and destroys it, he shall let him go free on account of his eye.
[SUP]27 [/SUP] "And if he knocks out a tooth of his male or female slave, he shall let him go free on account of his tooth.

OHHHH, it says true believers are responsible NOT TO mistreat anyone, including slaves. Therefore they validate that they are NOT real Christians if they mistreat them. Now where have I heard that before? ? ?

Matthew 7:20-23 (NRSV)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] Thus you will know them by their fruits.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] On that day
many(and that includes Canadians) will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?'
[SUP]23 [/SUP] Then I will declare to them, '
I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.'

Ya so thats totally nothing like what I said. You were blaming Americans when genocide went on in your own backyard. I posted it and you had to admit the truth. No one but you has said good riddance and this country is not actually white Christian now. You're putting words in my mouth that I did not say,nice try though.

We're not talking about the difference I see,its what God sees. A little murder is no less sin. All are guilty,Canada and the US. That is the past and on the heads of those that committed atrocities. I haven't murdered an Indian lately,have you? I dont stand guilty of sin I did not commit.

I think you are getting carried away in your guilt. My response was specifically directed to Ken/#1035 where I blamed his Christian forefathers because He blamed the Indians for deliberately ignoring God/I AM, which is not true.

Yes, you did not commit that sin nor were you there around that time. Please chill :)

I can chill but please dont blame our American brother and sisters. All our ancestors were guilty,unless they repented. Both did things that were sin and against God Word. Neither country is better.

Nobody blamed the current ones dear. You just got carried away in your emotions. That's ok. Even though wayyy more natives were murdered by your ancestors, compared to mine doesn't make us better than the USA. Ok I agree.

But as it stands now, the current state of affairs: CANADA is wayyyyy better than the USA. Because we celebrate multiculturalism not force immigrants to give up their culture. Even morality, and ethics wise my GOVT is far more better than yours. And you know that, unless you want to get started in that discussion (;

Hmm! Kaylagrl is Canadian! (She moved to the US when she was older, and may be naturalized, but has a good Canadian spirit about her! So maybe you are attacking the wrong person! As for Canadians and natives our track record is not good, between residential schools and reservations. And of course, the horrifying stories in BC where traders infected blankets with small pox and then gave them to the natives. I think 20,000 were wiped out on Vancouver Island alone. We have nothing to be self righteous about here!

Not sure where this thread took such a strange turn. I will now depart!

Angela, I am not attacking anybody and more the reason I agreed with Kayla that both our ancestors weren't any good.

Also note that I wasn't born in Canada. And having visited both the USA and Canada and finally settling down here, I can most certainly say from my experience IMO: people + government is much better in Canada than down south :p

How is one sin any greater than the other? I'm pretty sure Christ is thinking "Well, you only killed 1,000 and you killed 20,000... So your sin isn't as bad as the other guys"

Sin is sin... Killing is killing... Careful with the indignation.

Right sin is sin. But is lying as a sin holds the same magnitude equivalent to that of murder and adultery?

How does your nation's justice system work? Do you get 20-30 years solitary confinement in prison for stealing something small, compared to murder? Do both crimes hold the same magnitude of punishment?

What are you getting at? I dont follow.. Are you comparing sin or law of man? And, what does this have to with hell? We are supposed to be discussing hell and not the punishment of man.... If you have an anti-America agenda, start a thread on it. But it has nothing to do with what gets you to hell. Unless you want to keep it on the topic of sin...

LOL, You do not know much about us do you. Now why do you suppose much of the USA from North Dakota straight Down thru Texas, across east thru the middle of the USA, and most of the South is KNOWN AS THE BIBLE BELT. and Northern California, Oregon, and Washington is the Mini-Bible Belt.

The questions you STILL HAVE NOT ANSWERED in my Post #1018, also I gave you in my answers to those very same questions and included a list of famous Bible Teachers who faithfully over the years have taught in the Bible Belts of the USA. ONLY Dr. John MacArthur on my list has not on a regular basis been teaching withing one of the two Bible Belts. HE is Pastor of Grace Community Church and President of the Master's College and Seminary near L.A.

QUOTE: The Center for the Study of Global Christianity (CSGC) at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary calculates that Christians sent out approximately 400,000 international missionaries in 2010. And nearly half of the world’s top missionary-sending countries are now located in the global South.

The CSGC reports that "of the ten countries sending the most missionaries in 2010, three were in the global South: Brazil, South Korea, and India." Other notable missionary senders included South Africa, the Philippines, Mexico, China, Colombia, and Nigeria.

However, the United States still tops the chart by far in terms of total missionaries, sending 127,000 in 2010 compared to the 34,000 sent by No. 2-ranked Brazil.

NOW, the article I just read did not even mention where CANADA placed, nor did it mention all ten of the top ten Countries, but NOTICE number 2 was Brazil, which means Canada certainly sent WAY LESS THAN 34,000; because all TEN Countries that made the top 10, are named, therefore CANADA did not even make the TOP TEN. You may want to stop tooting your Canadian horn now, and start counting how many will end up in Hell because Canadians did not Volunteer to answer the call to fulfill the Great Commission.

Hmmm, Canada. This explains everything. Canada is one of the countries that have walked away from God.

The USA still believes and follows God. Most of the world including Canada has turned their backs on God to follow Satan.

No wonder you hate God so much. You have been brainwashed into believing lies from the world. You really need to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You really need to study the Scriptures with the Holy Spirit teaching you the Truth.

The world today is following and worshiping Satan, not God. Only a very few countries today actually follow God.

Come down here to the USA and you will learn the Truth in the Scriptures from God. We have MANY very great Christian teachers, Pastors who know the Truth. You can learn a lot more of the Truth down here then you could ever learn in Canada.

Could be true, and I never implied it was only in America that slavery existed. But not acceptable if you consider yourself born-again Christians and glorious children of God and act in an exact opposite manner. The British weren't any holier than the Americans either.

Because of the way they treated Indians back in the days, the Indians hate Christ.. and think of Him as a God of the white man. Who created that cynicism? Maybe the Lord Jesus Christ himself? No.
