Some of you may deny Israel's legitimacy but you can't deny the growing antisemitic sentiment worldwide.

WHO singles out Israel as ‘health rights violator’ - Global Agenda - News - Arutz Sheva

The World Health Organization (WHO) called for an investigation into alleged abuses of “mental, physical and environmental health” rights by Israel, the only country singled out during the U.N. agency’s annual assembly in Geneva. The motion was co-sponsored by the Arab Group of States and the Palestinian delegation, and it commissioned a WHO delegation to investigate and report on “the health conditions in the occupied Palestinian territory” and “the occupied Syrian Golan."
France, Germany and the United Kingdom were among the 107 countries that voted for the proposal. Eight countries – the United States, Canada, Australia, Paraguay, Guatemala, Micronesia and Papua New Guinea – voted against the resolution.

Anti-zionism, anti-imperialism, and/or anti-expansionism, are not the same as anti-Semitism. Regardless, the article displays none of the three. The WHO report contains statistics on many countries' healthcare shortcomings and violations. Israel, simply is in the unique position of actively violating the healthcare rights of another sovereign state, as a control tactic. Special circumstances warrant special attention. The U.N obviously agree. But regardless Israel rarely seem to listen to the U.N., which just to happen to be the same institution that allowed the British to facilitate the formation of Israel, and also the same institution that created the Geneva Convention to help protect them: the same convention the Israeli government have chosen to spit on.

But I'm not singling Israel out. I don't support the Israeli violation of important international treaties anymore than I support the British or American violation of them, or any violation of them. I didnt vote for the recent wars in which Brits and Americans have been found guilty of many human rights violations. If I'd had a choice, I'd have voted against them. If I had a choice now I would also withdraw financial support for Israel until it ceases its fascist policies and campaigns of clear human rights violations. I could say the same for any country or institution that disregards human rights. But for some reason, it's going to become illegal in Britain to boycott Israel, and we didn't get a vote surrounding Iraq and Afghanistan.

So, I guess real democracy has been dead for quite a number of years. On a more sombre general note, this is the time in history to choose between what's truly right and what's truly wrong. People will look back at 2015/16/17/18 as the most important period in human history.

The middle East is on fire; Israel are a growing concern; the economic structure of the world is failing more regularly and more severely as time goes on; the population is growing humungously; climate change is near the point of no return; and humanity is now a global community. We are facing probably the most difficult and most important challenges we will ever face.

Yet Donald Trump is winning the race for arguably the most important leadership position on the planet. It doesnt look good.

There is a time to let go as a Christian and let prophecy take its course. No country is perfect but Israel is still the Apple of God's eyes and we know that in the end all will come against Israel but the lord will stop them and will place his feet once again on the mount of olives

Most antisemitics are anti Zionists. You might have addressed this...

The motion also raised criticism from inside Israel. Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid told WHO director-general Dr. Margaret Chan in a letter that the UN vote was “a modern manifestation of anti-Semitism.”“The blame here lies with those who abuse medical facilities and turn them into military facilities. It is Hamas and the Islamic Jihad who should be the focus of your condemnation,” he wrote.
Lapid noted how Palestinian terrorists regularly use hospitals and schools to launch rockets at Israeli civilians, as was the case during Operation Protective Edge, while Israel set up a field hospital to treat injured Palestinians.
He further blasted WHO of allowing itself “to be used by those who seek to alienate the State of Israel through a campaign of de-legitimization. This orchestrated campaign against the sole Jewish state in the world is a modern manifestation of anti-Semitism.”
And then asked yourself why N.Korea, Iraq, Iran, Eritrea etc., weren't on the list.

Iraq wasn't on the most because the USA are the worst offenders for war crimes there and good ol USA mustn't be made to look bad. North Korea isn't on the kist because their leader is a psychotic who won't let anyone into the country except in the region's he has made to look somewhat perfect. And Iran is not on the list because many European institutions who associate with American interests (particularly the UN) are intensely disliked by the Iranian government for very valid reasons actually.

None of it changes the fact these countries are almost certainly guilty of human rights abuses, just like Israel.

The WHO and UN reps can't measure levels of human rights abuse and healthcare violations in open warzones in the middle of ISIS land, nor in nations which deny them entry.

Apparently they can't even measure human rights and healthcare contributions in peace zones as well.
Only one year's worth but any sane person would get the gist.

  • September 25, 2011 - A Gates Foundation grant will help an Israeli scientist further develop his cell-phone imaging system for diagnosing and staging malaria in Africa.

  • September 18, 2011 - A synthetic peptide developed in Israel may halt the progression of diabetes in Type 1 diabetes patients. The peptide is now in advanced Phase 3 clinical trials.

  • September 11, 2011 - A new solar window from Israel can generate power, reduce energy consumption and let in daylight, promising a green revolution to the construction industry.

  • September 5, 2011 - An Israeli device called RUTH, now in clinical trials, could revolutionize breast cancer diagnosis by offering detection without radiation, pain, or guesswork.

  • August 28, 2011 - MetaCure, an Israeli company has developed an implantable gastric stimulator that can help diabetics control blood glucose levels without the need for insulin.

  • August 21, 2011 - Researchers at Tel Aviv University have discovered that an extract of the common spice cinnamon seems to delay the progress of Alzheimer's disease.

  • August 14, 2011 - MayDay, an iPhone app developed by an Israeli space engineer, automatically sends emails or SMS messages to predetermined addresses when it senses the impact of a car crash.
  • August 7, 2011 - An Israeli man has been cycling four years around the world, clocking up over 60,000 kilometers on his adventure. He is now in the final leg of his journey home.
  • July 31, 2011 - One thousand hearing-impaired West Bank Palestinians recently received free hearing aids through a novel joint program between Israel's Sheba Medical Center and an American foundation.

  • July 24, 2011 - A new citrus-based supplement being developed by Israeli and American researchers could cancel the effects of cholesterol and sugar in the body.

  • July 17, 2011 - A new Israeli-developed tool enables the disabled to send emails by thought alone, and could revolutionize the world of mind-controlled computing.

  • July 10, 2011 - Israeli diagnostic company Novamed has developed a new home diagnostics product, SensAheart, that can detect a heart attack from the moment symptoms start to appear.

Nazi Germany made more scientific breakthroughs in ten years than people had in recorded human history. That doesn't make them incapable of brutality, Crossnote. You're even more blind than I thought of you think that some of Israel's private citizens creating medical equipment and techniques means the Israeli government are all kind and cuddly.

Wake up.

Let me get this straight.
Germany's government makes scientific breakthroughs and the government is a beast.
Israeli citizens make scientific breakthroughs and so their government is a beast.

...somehow your thought-flow escapes me.
Just because some country or persons are capable of brutality doesn't mean they are brutal.

Christians have this erroneous affinity for Israel which is not biblical. If you look in the New Testament it tells us that those who accept Jesus Christ are part of the Covenant of Abraham and not just those who are born in Israel. Israel rejects the Covenant of Jesus Christ in the Bible is clear on not yoking ourselves with unbelievers... those who reject Jesus Christ will go to hell chosen or not

Apparently Israel isn't good enough at genital mutilation, beheading people for common crimes and teaching children to hate and kill innocent people.

You havent got it straight at all. You have it entirely twisted. You posted a list of medical breakthroughs made by Israeli scientists and implied that this means that the WHO'S report on Israel's healthcare related violations of international law is false. I replied to point out that just because some of Israel's scientists made medical brreakhroughs, does not mean the Israeli government aren't breakig international laws by impeding and obstructing access to healthcare in Palestine. Some Israeli scientists making medical breakthroughs has no bearing on Israeli military abuses of Palestinian healthcare. Your implication was daft.

So, instead of admitting your implication was daft or recognizing that you made a totally illogical argument, you decided to twist what I said to make it look like I was saying Israel's government is bad because Germany's was. That isn't what I was saying at all.

I was pointing out YOUR fallacy. You implied Israel's government are innocent of healthcare ceimwa because of the progress Israeli medical scientists make. I simply showed you that A is not therfore B. That a nation's scientists have breakthroughs, does not make its government unable to commit healthcare violations and human rights abuses.

You're a slippery snake.

but it's cool for the PLA to use hospitals schools and residential neighborhoods to shield themselves from Israeli retaliation for their terrorist activities and somehow Israel is a human rights violator. The only reason you think crossnote is a slippery snake is because you take the side of terrorists who maim and kill innocent people....including their own.

You really don't let logic get in the way do you? Lol you're still making blind swipes at argument. And they're still illogical.

How on Earth does my saying the UN can't measure healrjcare violations in extremely dangerous ISIS warzones like Iraq, or in Iran, where they cant always gain access, in any way equate to "Israel is not the number one human rights abuser?" Those other countries were not tested,l for valid reasons, but out of those which WERE, Israel ranked worst.

You get a logical response to a faulty argument. So you twist the argument.

You get called on your meaning twisting and goalpoast shifting. You call it "jvenile flaming".

How does anyone possibly establish any sense of reality or certainty with you?
